good first go but chat was slow

Would use them again, it was my first time doing one of these and the course itself was easy to follow on my phone. The live chat took nearly a day to reply to my question about the certificate, which was annoying. Otherwise no complaints.

Still my go to for refresher courses

Honestly this is still the one I come back to. I've done three of these over the years and the booking has never given me bother. The one thing I'd flag is that the reminder emails came a bit late this time, so I had to log in to check my date. Otherwise solid.

Fair price but slow to confirm

Price was the main reason, it came in well under the classroom places round here and I only had to pay once. The sign up was a bit slow though, it took a while to confirm my details and I had to ring them to get the completion sent through. Course itself was fine and did the job.

Bought the course on my phone

Bought the online course on my phone on the way to work. Got the login straight away and started it that afternoon. Video quality was a bit patchy on the mobile data so I switched to wifi. Then finished it and got the certificate by email the same night, no bother.

got the course on my laptop

Got the online course on my laptop for a speeding one, the login arrived in about a minute. Quizzes were easy enough and I liked that I could pause and come back to it. Took me a couple of evenings. Certificate landed in my inbox the next morning so I printed it straight away and sent it off to court, done in under a week.

Booked on the lunch break

Booked the course on my lunch break from the car park and it took about ten minutes start to finish, which is the only reason I went with them. Had to log in twice because the first password reset email went to spam but that's on me. Did the modules in bits over a week, the site kept my place when I closed it, no faff. Certificate came through same day.

Way quicker than the council one

Went with them instead of the council course because it was ages to get a slot there. Booked online at like 11pm and had the certificate sorted the next day, honestly didn't expect that. Easy, no faff.

Cheaper than the local school

Compared to the classroom course near me this was a fair bit cheaper and I got to do it at home. Same certificate at the end, which is what matters. Booking took five minutes and I started the same day.

needed it for a speeding fine

I needed it to get points off after a speeding fine and had no idea what to expect. The sign up was clear about what I needed to do and the modules were pretty straightforward. Got the certificate through and sent it off to the court as asked.

needed it for points

Got a speeding ticket so needed this to keep my licence. Signing up was fine but the payment kept timing out on my card first go and I had to try again. Once I was in the course was okay, a bit long and dull but got through it. Certificate came through eventually.

About BESTtrafficschool

BESTtrafficschool is an online provider of approved traffic school courses for drivers in the United Kingdom who need to complete a driver improvement programme. The company offers its courses entirely through its website, so students can study at their own pace from any device. Its courses cover the topics that a driver improvement programme is expected to address, such as road safety, hazard awareness and responsible driving habits.

The service is aimed at motorists who have received penalty points or have been asked to attend a course as part of a sentence or an alternative to prosecution. Students register, complete the course material and sit the assessments on the site, with progress saved so that they can return to the course at a later point.
