Apex Virtual Education

Good value for the money, which is what I was after. I checked three other providers and this came out cheaper for the same number of hours, and the lessons themselves have been well run. My daughter gets the feedback she needs and I don't have to pay for travel.

The first thing I noticed was that the live classroom loads slowly on my laptop, which is a bit frustrating when you're trying to get started. I teach A-level physics myself so I know how these tools should work, and the whiteboard lags when more than a few students are drawing. The content itself is solid though, just the tech lets it down.

Bought the twelve week English course for my daughter after looking at a few different online options. The price was a bit higher than some of the others but the tutor is very good with teenagers and she has actually started enjoying her homework. The only niggle is the scheduling, which needed a couple of changes.

Compared to the cheaper online tutoring sites I'd looked at, this was noticeably more expensive per hour. I did go with it anyway because the tutor came recommended and my son has responded well. The booking took a day to confirm which was a bit slow, but the sessions have been on time and well planned since.

Went with them after comparing three other online tutoring options and this was clearly the best value for what we got. My son's maths tutor was patient and the timetable fitted around his school day without any fuss. We'd already tried two other providers and this one just worked from the first lesson.

This was my first time using an online tutor and compared to the local centre I went to before, it felt a lot less personal. The first session started ten minutes late and the tutor seemed to be reading from a script. Booking the next few lessons took a while because I kept getting sent to different pages, and I ended up emailing support twice before it sorted itself out.

Needed help before my uni exams so I signed up for a few sessions. Booking was dead easy and the tutor explained stuff really clearly, honestly loved it. Would def use again.

The sessions themselves are good, my tutor knows her stuff and explains things properly. The one thing that stood out was how slow the app is to open before a lesson, sometimes it takes ages to load. Otherwise the signing up was quick and the lessons have been running on time since.

Booked the maths revision block on my phone last week and it was really quick to set up, I picked the times that suited my shifts. The tutor sends a short summary after every lesson which is brilliant for remembering what to work on. Had a little wobble when the first session got moved but they sorted it the same day and it's been smooth since, would happily book again.
