Moved over from another host and this is way quicker to get going than that one was, took about ten mins to sign up and the server was up before I'd finished my tea. Compared to my old setup the lag has gone and the chat support actually replies. Nice one, will be staying with them for sure.
Read moreFirst time I'd used a Minecraft host so I didn't know what to expect. The thing that stuck with me was how much the control panel was like a file manager, which was handy. My payment took a while to show up as active, around an hour, and nobody said why. Once it was going though it's been fine, just a bit of a wait at the start.

Needed a server quick for our uni group and didn't want to faff about with my own PC. Picked a plan and paid on the site in about two minutes, then it was live the same evening. Ran smoothly all week, loads of us on at once and no lag, so yeah, would use again.
Upgraded my plan on the site last night to get more RAM for my mates. Went live in like five minutes, no lag so far, app works fine on my phone too.
Compared to the free host I was using before, this is miles better, no random downtime and the lag is gone. Signing up took about two minutes and my friends joined straight away. Support answered me on the chat within a few minutes which was a nice surprise, so yeah, really happy with it.
Been running servers for about eight years and this is one of the more reliable hosts I've used. The panel is sensible, you can move files and change the startup flags without fighting it, and the performance on a busy night has held up well. Plugin installs go through first time, and when I've needed help they've known the actual problem rather than sending me a generic answer.

Apex Hosting provides game server hosting for Minecraft, letting players and communities run their own multiplayer worlds on dedicated infrastructure. The service is aimed at server owners who want reliable uptime, straightforward control panels and the ability to manage mods, plugins and modpacks without installing software on their own machines. Customers are drawn from the Minecraft community, including small friend groups, content creators and larger networks that require consistent performance.
The company operates entirely online, with plans selected and managed through its website and server controls accessed via a web-based panel. Its focus remains on Minecraft hosting rather than a broad catalogue of web or cloud products, which keeps the service centred on the needs of that particular game.
