Advanced System Repair

Compared it with the big chain on the high street and this was roughly the same job for less money, which is what I was after. Booking took five minutes online and the engineer rang ahead. Simple, no nonsense, fixed the phone the same afternoon.

Booked a laptop screen replacement after looking at a couple of other repair shops nearby. Their quote was a bit lower and they had a slot the same week, so that tipped it. Turned up on time and the screen was fine.

Having used them for maybe ten years now, I find they are quicker than the independent shop I went to before. Last time I brought in a printer and it was back to me the next working day. Still my first call when something breaks.

My old desktop had stopped booting and I needed the files off it urgently for work. The job itself was done properly but the initial reply to my enquiry took three days, which was frustrating when I was under pressure.

Verdict is good value for money. Took my laptop in with a dead charging port and they sorted it for less than I expected. No upsell, they told me what was needed and what wasn't. Turnaround was two days and everything was in order when I picked it up.

I contacted them because my home broadband router had become unreliable and I needed someone to look at it before the weekend. The engineer who eventually attended was polite, though the first callback I was promised never arrived and I had to ring again myself. The repair held up, but the wait was longer than I would have liked, and the price was a little higher than I had expected when I first enquired.

Got my cracked phone screen done here, took about a day. The tech was friendly and the screen works fine now, colours look right. Booking was dead easy on my phone. Only thing is the confirmation email took a bit to land so I was checking my spam for ages. Would go back for sure.

The detail that stood out was the written diagnostic report they send with every repair. I work in IT myself so I know how rare that is at this price. It listed the faulty component, the part used and the test results. The repair itself was clean and the machine has run without issue since.

Really pleased, would use again. Dropped my tablet in for a battery swap in the morning and collected it that evening. Booking through the site was easy, I did it from the bus. Price was fair too.

What stood out most was that the engineer actually tested the board before quoting, rather than just swapping parts. Knew exactly what he was doing with the ageing hard drive and explained the options plainly. Fixed, tested and I got a clear invoice.
