Rackhams

Bought a bedside lamp with a warm bulb setting and it's just what I wanted for the bedroom. First time buying from here and the page showed the size clearly, though the cable is shorter than the photo suggested. Arrived in good time and the box was fine.

Still my first choice after years of using them for garden tools and bits for the car. Prices are steady and they rarely run out of stock on the things I need. Delivery has got a touch slower lately but it's still reliable.

The grip on these gloves is brilliant, pretty much the best bit. Got them for the gym and they've held up well. Came quick. Only thing is the size runs a bit small.

I purchased a pair of secateurs for the roses and they cut cleanly. The handles are a little narrow for my hands, though they are comfortable enough. Delivery was prompt.

The pack came with the thinnest cardboard sleeve round the bit set, which I thought was asking for trouble, but nothing was damaged when it arrived. I'd bought the same range of masonry bits before from a builders merchant so I knew what to expect on size and finish, and these match. Price was a few quid more than the merchant's online arm though, and the delivery email took a day to show up after dispatch.

Ordered the 12mm masonry drill bit set for a bit of tiling and garden wall work and they're holding up well so far. The metal feels properly solid and the case is handy for keeping them organised. Delivery came the next working day in a tidy box. Only knock is the sizes are marked a bit faintly on the shanks so I had to check with a ruler.

Tracking said delivered yesterday but nothing on the doorstep and nothing with the neighbours either. Messaged the site through the app and they replied within the hour asking for a photo of the spot. Replacement went out and turned up Thursday. Fine in the end, just annoying on my phone while I was waiting.
