not what I was promised
Not what I was expected. The order was for a cordless vacuum and the site listing said it came with two batteries but only one turned up. Customer service took three days to reply and then sorted a replacement battery, though I had to chase it. First time ordering so I'm wary of trying again.

Tools arrived fine but the packing was a bit thin
The pack came with the thinnest cardboard sleeve round the bit set, which I thought was asking for trouble, but nothing was damaged when it arrived. I'd bought the same range of masonry bits before from a builders merchant so I knew what to expect on size and finish, and these match. Price was a few quid more than the merchant's online arm though, and the delivery email took a day to show up…

Needed a spare for the mower
Needed a spare drive belt for the mower before the grass got out of hand. Price is fair but the postage added a bit on top. The belt fits and works, though delivery took four days when the site said two.
needed a new kettle for the flat
My old kettle finally gave up so I needed a replacement before the weekend. First time ordering from the site and the checkout was a bit longer than I expected because it kept asking me to sign in. The kettle itself came well packed and arrived on time. The price was a little higher than the supermarket but I didn't want to wait.
