I would say this is a very sensible way to cover a trip abroad. I bought an annual policy through the site, which took about twenty minutes, and the wording was clear enough that I knew what I was covered for before I paid. When I had to ring about a cancelled flight the adviser was patient and went through the paperwork with me step by step. I have no complaints and I shall be renewing next year.

I went with it because I had already started the booking, but when I rang to ask about the excess the call took ages to get through and nobody could give me a straight answer. Not impressed with how it was handled.

If you already know which level of cover you need, this is quick and the price is decent. I have used them for a few years for city breaks. The only annoyance was the claim form asking for the same information twice, but it got sorted.
The price was the bit that got me, it was way cheaper than the others I looked at. Took about ten mins to get the cover sorted on the app and the cert came through straight away. Only thing is the app kept logging me out so I had to redo a couple of screens. Would use again tbh.
