Booked a two night stay in the Lakes on the app while waiting for the bus, took maybe three mins. Chose the cabin with the hot tub and the view over the water, which was the best bit of the whole thing. Check in was easy, the host messaged the day before with directions. Would book again, just wish the app let you filter by pet friendly properties properly.
Read moreThe hotel room was not quite as pictured, it was smaller and the view was of a car park. I booked on my phone while on the train and didn't notice the note about the room type until later. Reception were apologetic but it took three emails over four days to get anything moved, and the refund for the difference was slow.
Read moreBefore choosing this firm I compared them with a big high street travel agent for a Lake District coach break. The price here was noticeably lower and the itinerary was more detailed, with the stops and times laid out. The coach was comfortable and the driver knew the area well, so we had a lovely time and I would book with them again.
Read moreI have used them for years and this was the first time I compared them with a rival firm's cottage breaks before booking. The rival was about the same price but gave a clearer list of what was included. Ours had a few gaps, like the welcome pack being thinner than before and a reply to my question about parking taking two days.
