Looked at four different sites before we settled on this one for a cottage in the Lake District. This was the only one that showed the actual kitchen and the parking properly, and the price was the lowest of the lot. The host sent the access details the day before which was handy. Really pleased we went with them.
Read moreNot bad at all, the villa was fine and the booking was simple. Only thing is the deposit refund took nearly three weeks to show up after we got home, and I had to chase it twice. Would still use them.
Read moreNot happy with the stay, I'll be honest. We booked a villa in Tenerife and the check-in time moved twice on the day, which meant waiting about two hours in the car park with the kids. The owner's replies came the next morning and didn't really explain why. Booking itself was simple enough and the place was clean. The pool needed a clean and the wifi dropped every evening. Probably not for us next…
Read moreThe cottage in Madeira was lovely and exactly as described, with a proper kitchen and a view over the valley. The booking went through a little slower than I'd like, with the payment page asking me to confirm twice. Owner was polite and sorted our taxi from the airport without any fuss. A small hitch with the hot water on the first morning but it was fixed by lunchtime.
Checked a few sites before booking a villa in Tenerife and this one came out a bit cheaper than the rest. The listing for the pool area was a little vague though, it was smaller than I pictured. Otherwise the stay was good and the check in was simple.
The sea view from the terrace was the main reason we picked it, after comparing four or five places along the Amalfi coast. Booking through the site was fine, though the payment page timed out once and I had to start again. Otherwise the owner was helpful about the steps down to the beach. Bit steep for us but we managed.
We needed a place for a family wedding in Wales and this was our first time using them. Signing up took a bit longer than I expected because it wanted me to upload ID twice. Once that was sorted the villa was lovely and the host was quick with directions on the day.
