Honestly this beat the other sites I looked at, which all wanted me to sign up before I could see prices. Here I could compare the cottages and book without faffing about. Compared it with two other companies and this was the easiest. The cottage was tidy and the owner answered my questions within the hour. Happy with it.
Read moreWe needed something cheap for the family over half term and this was the lowest price I could find for a decent place. The booking was fine but the deposit was higher than I expected and I had to chase the balance reminder. Place was OK, a bit dated, but the beds were comfy and the kids liked the garden.
Read moreWe booked the Exmoor walking week for two, which is a self guided package with luggage transfers between the inns. The route notes were detailed and the transfers ran to time every day. The one thing I'd flag is the evening meal option was a bit pricier than we'd expected for what came out. Otherwise we'd happily book the same again.

The booking itself went through without any bother, though I did have to ring them to confirm the dates as the online form wouldn't accept my card at first. Once that was sorted the cottage was lovely and the walking guide was helpful. Price was a little above what I'd seen elsewhere.
