Found a flat in Manchester for a city break and booked it on my phone at lunch, which was way quicker than the hotel sites I usually check. Honestly the booking was dead easy and I got a confirmation straight away. The flat was spot on, the bed was comfy and the location was brilliant for the bars, so no complaints at all.

We'd always booked the cottage ourselves through the owner's own page and this was a different experience altogether, the search was quick and the choice was much wider than I expected. The booking itself took about ten minutes and the confirmation came straight through to my email. The place we stayed in was exactly as listed, so no complaints there and we'll probably use it again for our next trip away.

The stay we booked on the coast in Devon was exactly the quiet place we were after. The listing gave a clear picture of the view and the access, which I found very useful. Booking was straightforward and the host was helpful on arrival.

Compared with the big booking sites this one showed far more smaller places, which suited us rather well. The booking was simple and the confirmation arrived promptly. The cottage was as described and the host was courteous throughout.

I tried two other sites before this one for a weekend in the Peak District and this came out on top. The booking was simpler and the cottage matched the listing, which the others didn't. The host was friendly and the whole thing ran without any trouble, so I'd happily book here again.

The photos are what sold it for me, the place in Bath looked just like the pictures which is rare. Booking took about two minutes on the app and the host sent a welcome message the night before. Everything worked and the bathroom was lovely, so I'll definitely book again.

I've been using the site on and off for about six years now and the thing I notice most is how the reviews have got more useful over time. The booking page is clear and the payment went through first time every time. Our stays have always matched the listings, so I keep coming back.

Booked my first ever trip through them for a weekend in York and it went really smoothly. The site made it easy to see what was included and the price was fair for the area. The place was clean and the host was friendly, so I'd book here again.

We booked a cottage in the Cotswolds through the site and it was just right for the two of us. The host had left everything we needed in the kitchen and the heating was on when we arrived. Booking was easy and I'd use them again.

We wanted a holiday let with a proper garden for the kids and the listing for the place in Norfolk had exactly that. Booking was quick and the host gave us a clear list of what was provided. The house was spotless and the garden was a big hit with the children, so we'll go back.

Needed a place for a night in Glasgow after a late train so booked it on my phone. Took two minutes, the map was really handy. Room was clean and the host was waiting when I got in.

We needed a cheap place for a girls weekend in Newquay and wanted to get as much house as possible for the money. The site made it easy to compare the sizes and the cost per person, which was the deciding factor for us. Booking was simple, the house had everything we needed and the host sorted a late check in without fuss, so we got good value out of it.

We needed a cottage big enough for six of us for my mum's birthday in the Lakes. I looked at a few places and this one had the best range of properties with proper bedrooms, which was the main thing. Booking was simple and the host replied to every question within the hour.

We needed somewhere near the coast for a long weekend after a work trip fell through and I'd used the platform a few times before for this kind of thing. The filters let me narrow it down to places with parking and a decent kitchen, which saved me a lot of scrolling. Booked it in a couple of minutes and the host sent the entry details that same afternoon.
