Compared it with a seaside hotel we stayed at last year and this lodge is better in pretty much every way. More space, a proper garden and no one stomping past the window at night. Booking through the app was quick and the reminder about the arrival time was useful. The beds were a bit firm but we slept fine. Would happily go again.

The wifi was patchy in the bedrooms, which was a bit of a nuisance for my daughter who was working remotely. The gardens and the walks are lovely though, and the staff were as helpful as always.
