booking went fine but the host was slow
First time using them and the booking itself was easy, I got my dates and the price in one go. The host took nearly three days to reply to my question about parking, which was annoying when we were arriving that evening. Once we got there the flat was fine and clean enough. Just a bit of a wait for basic answers.

Cheap rooms but lots of options
The first thing I noticed was how many properties came up for the Peak District weekend, far more than the other sites I tried. Rates were lower than the rest and the map view made it easy to pick somewhere close to the walks. The only thing that irritated me was the cancellation terms, which I had to read twice before I was sure what I'd get back if plans changed. Otherwise a solid choice for a cheap break.
Better than booking direct
I checked the hotel's own site first and this came out around the same price for a room in York, though the total was a little higher once the taxes were added. The confirmation email took a while to arrive, so I rang to check it had gone through. Everything else was fine.
Cheaper than the big agencies
I compared them against the usual travel sites before booking our first holiday through here and they came out a fair bit cheaper for the same villa in Cornwall. The booking itself took a few more steps than I'd have liked, with a couple of pages asking the same details twice, but the confirmation email had everything in it. Arrival was smooth and the check in instructions were clear. Would use them again.
Good for a short break
I needed a cheap hotel near the Cotswolds for a short break after a long year, and this turned up a comfortable place at a fair price. The check in took a few minutes longer than I'd expected because the hotel had my booking under a different date, but it got sorted at the desk. Good value, and the rooms were kept spotless.
