Consistent every single time

I've been buying their espresso for years and the taste hasn't moved, which is exactly what I want. Ordering is quick, the emails are clear about dispatch, and the bags always turn up on schedule. Nothing has ever gone wrong for me.

Needed a gentler coffee for my stomach

I needed a lower acid coffee after my doctor suggested cutting back, and this one has been easy on me. I've been a customer for a few years now and the beans have always been good. The delivery did slip a day once, but the team sorted it quickly.

nicer than the chain

Way better than the coffee I got from the chain, less bitter and smoother. Not gonna lie though, it's pricier than the supermarket stuff and I wish the bag was a bit bigger for the money.

subscription sorted, cheers

Honestly one of the easiest sign ups I've done. Picked a bag, set it to come every month and it turns up on time. Beans taste fresh and the decaf is decent too.

Far smoother than the chain

I'd been picking up my coffee from the high street chain for years, and this is considerably smoother and less bitter. I was a little sceptical at first, but the house blend has won me over. The ordering was simple and the bag arrived well packed. I'm very pleased with it.

The house espresso bag

I bought the house espresso bag to replace my usual brand and the flavour is smooth and balanced. The bag arrived with the roast date clearly printed and the beans were in good condition. The only small thing is that the bag is a touch smaller than I expected for the price.

good beans but the price adds up

Bought the house blend bag to try, and it's lovely and fresh. The price is a bit higher than the supermarket, though, and the delivery charge on a single bag stings. Fine if you're after something nicer, less so for everyday.

Needed something for the office

Our office kettle was running on cheap instant and nobody was happy, so I ordered a bag of the filter blend for the team. Quick to sort on my phone, and it arrived before the weekend. Everyone's asked where it came from since.

Not what it used to be

Sadly the blend has changed over the years and I no longer find it as rich as before. I've been a customer since they first started and I'm disappointed with the latest bags. The service is still polite, but I'm not sure I'll keep ordering.

Better than the supermarket tin

Compared with the supermarket own brand I'd been using, this is a clear improvement in flavour and it doesn't taste flat. The order went through without any bother and the delivery was prompt. My one small niggle is that the delivery fee added a little to the total, though it's not a big deal.

The moka pot finally works

The coffee I bought for my stovetop moka pot has made a real difference, and it's the first blend that doesn't taste flat when brewed that way. I'd tried a few supermarket options and gave up. The grind is spot on for the basket. I've not had any trouble with it at all.

Fresher than the rest

I compared a few options before ordering, including a big supermarket and a local roaster. This came out ahead for freshness and the taste is smooth. Delivery was a day slower than the site suggested, but the beans were still in great shape.

far nicer than the high street option

Compared with the coffee I used to pick up from the chain, this is noticeably smoother and less bitter. The ordering was straightforward and the parcel arrived in good order. I have been ordering from them for several months now and have no complaints.

just what the moka pot needed

I needed a coffee that would work well in my stovetop moka pot, as the usual supermarket blends tasted flat. This medium roast brings out a proper chocolatey sweetness without going burnt. The grind suggestion on the bag was spot on, and the beans arrived in good time.

Great first order

Just tried them for the first time and the verdict is a yes from me. The checkout was easy, I picked a sample pack to start, and the beans smelled amazing when I opened them. Already planning my next order and I've told my sister to try them too.

Exactly what my home espresso needed

I needed fresh beans for my old machine after a year of stale supermarket stuff, and the espresso blend pulled a proper crema straight away. Roast date was printed clearly on the bag, which I appreciated. Will reorder every fortnight.

lovely decaf but took a while to arrive

I looked at a few decaf options before picking the Colombian swiss water one here, and it's the best I've had. The bag was a bit later than the site said, arriving about four days after the estimate, which was annoying. Taste makes up for it though, and the price was in line with the others.

The cold brew blend

I picked up the cold brew blend as a first order, mainly to see if it works in summer. It steeps well overnight and gives a smooth cup with no bitterness. Delivery was quick and the bag was well sealed.

About coupletcoffee

Coupletcoffee is a coffee business that sells whole bean and ground coffee for home brewing and in-cup drinks for people who want a considered cup at home. The range centres on coffee, with brewing equipment and accessories sitting alongside the beans for customers who want to make their own drinks. The brand sells its products through its online store, which is where customers place orders and read about what is on offer.

The company is aimed at people who buy coffee regularly and care about how it is roasted, packed and brewed. Customers reach the business through its website, and the brand's identity is built around coffee rather than a broader range of food and drink.
