Similar to the big banks but a bit simpler

Compared with the high street bank I was using before, this feels a bit more straightforward to manage. Fewer confusing extras to wade through. The only niggle is the online account takes a while to link up with my other accounts, so it wasn't instant. Otherwise fine.

Good all round, a bit slow on the phone

I've been a member for years and the policy has never given me a problem. The only thing is getting through on the phone can take a while, I waited about twenty minutes last time. Still, when I did speak to someone they were helpful and sorted out my question straight away.

Cheaper than my old pension provider

Moved my pension over from my old provider and the fees here work out noticeably lower, which was the main reason I switched. The transfer itself took about six weeks, longer than I expected, but the updates kept coming so I knew where things were. Worth a look if you're comparing.

Needed a loan fast, compared a few

I needed a small loan quickly to cover a car repair, so I compared a few lenders online. This one had a clear eligibility check and I was told straight away whether I'd been approved. The money reached my account the next working day. The only small annoyance was the form asking for the same details twice, but it wasn't a big deal.

Been with them for years

I've had my savings plan with them for about fifteen years and it's always run smoothly. Paying in each month is simple and the statements arrive on time. The only thing is the app login asks me to reset my password more often than I'd like, but otherwise I'm happy.

needed a plan for my late husband's estate

I needed to arrange a plan to help with my late husband's affairs and to make sure there was something set aside for the family. I found the team patient when I rang with questions, which I appreciated at a difficult time. The paperwork was a little lengthy to get through and took some time to return, but everything was handled properly in the end and I'm glad I went ahead with it.

ISA opened with them last spring

I opened a stocks and shares ISA with them last spring and I'm pleased I did. The paperwork was clear enough and the account was set up within a week or so. The only thing I'd mention is the fees are a little higher than some of the big names, but I haven't found the service lacking.
