Subscribed to use on the smart TV for the foreign channels my family watch. I already know a fair bit about DNS settings so the manual setup was quick. Latency is low and it has been stable for the last few weeks. Price is in line with what I expected.
Read moreCompared it with another DNS thing my mate uses and this one feels a bit slower on the streams. It's fine for normal browsing but I notice it when watching live football. Setup was fine and support was ok. Not the worst but I'd check the other options first.
Read moreHonestly the first thing I noticed was how quick the whole thing was to sort out, I wasn't expecting it to take five minutes but it did. Works for what I wanted it for, which was getting my shows on the telly. The setup was a bit of a faff at first because I didn't read the guide properly. Price is okay for what it is. Not sure I'd rush back to it.

Smart DNS Proxy is a telecom service that lets people access geo-restricted streaming, gaming and web content by routing DNS requests through its servers. The service is sold online and is used by customers who want to watch region-locked television, films and sport from outside their home country. Its focus is on DNS-based unblocking rather than a full virtual private network, which keeps connection speeds closer to those of a standard line.
The company operates entirely through its website, where customers set up the service on devices such as smart TVs, games consoles, routers and computers. Smart DNS Proxy is known for its compatibility with devices that cannot run a VPN app directly, and its setup guides cover many different platforms.
