I needed something that would let me use my phone in Germany for a week without paying silly money to my usual provider. My firm was paying for the trip so I had to be sure it would work for client calls. I booked it the night before I flew and it was live when I got to Frankfurt. Good for what I needed.

We needed a way to stay in touch during a two week stay in Tenerife while my daughter was at home with her grandparents. I compared a few options and this one came out cheapest for the amount of data we'd realistically use. Activated on the sofa, worked from the moment we got to the apartment.

Sorted, I'm definitely using this again for the next holiday. Bought the eSIM on the train to the airport, scanned the code, and it was connected when I landed in Barcelona. Cheap data, no fuss, and the app tells you when you're running low.
