Does the job, cheap too
Honestly it does exactly what I wanted, which is hiding my location for gaming. Set up took no time at all and the ping has been fine. Not much else to say really, it just works.

Read moreCompared to the free one I was using before, this is a bit more stable but noticeably slower on the far servers. I expected a bit more speed for paying. The app is easy to use though and I have not had any drops. Probably fine if you just want basic privacy.
Read moreI bought the yearly plan back in 2019 and have renewed it every year since without thinking twice. It runs quietly in the background on my laptop and my phone, I never notice it until I need it, which is exactly what I want from something like this. The connection has been steady even on dodgy hotel wifi abroad. Setup was easy and the app has barely changed, which I actually like.
Read moreI had a look at a couple of others before going with this one, mostly for the price. The app is fine but took a bit longer than I'd like to open the first time. Nothing serious.

This is a solid pick if you just want a VPN that works and does not cost much. Signing up was quick, the app downloaded fine on my phone. The connection dropped once or twice on the train, and I had to reconnect manually, which was mildly annoying. Otherwise I have no real complaints.
Coming from another VPN I used for work, this one is noticeably lighter on my laptop battery and does not slow down my video calls. The kill switch has saved me once when the wifi dropped in a cafe. Server switching is quick. It is a sensible tool.
Works well on my phone and laptop and was simple to get set up. I use it mainly when I am on the train and at cafes. The connection has been steady and I have had no problems with it so far. Glad I gave it a go.
The sign up took me about two minutes, which I didn't expect from a site like this. Payment went through without any fuss and the app was ready straight away.
I signed up for the monthly plan to try it out before committing to anything longer. The app was easy to install and the connection has been stable on my laptop. The one annoyance was that the cancellation page was hard to find and I had to search the help section twice to work out how to turn off auto renewal. Otherwise it is fine.
Needed a VPN for a work trip, sorted it in five minutes on the train. Connection works fine. The price came out a bit more than I thought once the first month ended, so I had to check the plan details again. Would still use it.
I needed something to watch my usual shows while I was away in Spain. Signed up in a couple of minutes on my phone. It has been working well so far and the picture is not laggy.
Compared with the one I had before, this is a lot less fiddly to leave running all day. I have been a customer for a good few years and it has never once logged me out without warning. The speeds are fine for streaming at home. I am happy with it.

I went for the monthly plan so I was not locked in, and it cost far less than the other VPNs I looked at. Setup was quick and the connection has held up on home broadband and on hotel wifi. I have not had any drops during video calls for work. For the money it is good value and I see no reason to switch.
I needed something to keep my banking and email secure while I was staying in a hotel abroad. It was straightforward to set up before I left home. It has done its job well so far.
I downloaded the app to use on my phone while I was out and about in Manchester. Getting it set up took about two minutes and it connected straight away. I have used it on public wifi at the station a few times now.
The app is the first thing I noticed and it's the reason I stuck with it. One tap to connect, and it remembers the server I use for work so I'm not hunting through menus every morning. Speeds have been decent on the London servers and my video calls haven't lagged once.
This is great value for what you get and I am very happy I went with it. The app is simple and I could set it up on my own without reading anything. I have been using it on my phone every day for my commute and it has held up well.
I needed something to stop my uni wifi snooping on what I was doing when I was working on coursework. Signing up took a few minutes and the app did the rest. It has been reliable and I have not had to think about it.
