Breeze eSIM

Not impressed tbh. Data works fine when it's on but I messaged support about a plan that wouldn't activate and it took two days to get anything back. Fixed in the end but it was annoying when I was already at the airport.

I was rather pleased to find the eSIM could be set up at home before we left, which I had not expected of a mobile arrangement. The instructions on the site were clear and I did not need to ring anyone for help. We arrived in Athens and the connection was there straight away, so I'm very glad I didn't leave it until the airport.

Been with them since the first trip to Spain about five years back and I've never had a bad experience. What I like most is that the eSIM goes on in about two minutes from the app, so I don't have to dig out a tiny SIM tool at the airport. Top up is easy and the data just works when I land. Would not go back to swapping cards.

Compared with the roaming charges my bank used to quote, this was a very sensible alternative. I set it up at home before our trip to Spain and had the data working on arrival. Compared with buying a local SIM at the airport, this was far quicker and I kept my UK number on the phone. I've used a few of these now and the data speeds in Madrid and Lisbon have been consistent. Top ups are one tap in the app. Works for me.
