The eSIM installed from the QR code on the site in about five minutes, which I did not expect at my age. Data worked as soon as I landed in Greece and I was grateful for that. The only small thing was that I had to look up how to switch my data over, but I managed it.

Found out the data plan for France was about a third of what my network wanted for the same days, which is the main reason I went with them. Topped up on the app before we left and it switched over at the border without me touching anything. Only niggle was the app asking me to confirm the country twice, but it did work and the data was there when we landed.

I needed data for a fortnight in Spain and didn't want to pay my network's roaming charges, which were ridiculous. Signed up on the site in about ten minutes and the eSIM was working as soon as I landed in Madrid. Really glad I found them.

Way cheaper than what my network wanted for the same data in Italy, so that was the first thing I noticed. Setup was fine, just had to restart my phone once. Works, nothing to complain about really.

I bought the 10GB plan for Thailand and set it up the night before flying, which I'd recommend since the install needs a decent connection. Data came on at Bangkok airport straight away and I was tethering my laptop for work calls by the next morning. Speeds held up well on the islands too. Top-up was easy when I ran low in week three, and the usage meter in the app is clear.

Bought the 5GB eSIM for Portugal. Wouldn't connect once I got there and the chat just kept sending me the same help article. Ended up using my normal roaming in the end.

Way better than my network's roaming, which wanted a fortune for a few days in Berlin. Took five mins to sign up on my phone and the data just worked.

It works fine for the most part and the data price was lower than what my bank's roaming add-on would have cost. The bit that let it down was getting help when the connection dropped in Greece, as I waited nearly two days for a reply. I got there in the end, but I'd have liked it sooner.

Going to Japan and didn't want to be stuck without maps. Got the eSIM sorted the night before, took like two mins. Works loads better than I expected, no dead spots in Tokyo.

Easily the best option I found for data in the US and I've used a couple of others before. Bought it on the train, it installed fine and was live before I got to the hotel. Support answered my one question within the hour. Be sure to check the plan covers the countries you're going to, mine did, that's all. Will sort the next one the same way.
