Honestly one of the smoothest things I've signed up for. I applied on a Tuesday evening and had a decision by the next morning, and the money was in my account before lunch. Clear steps all the way through, no surprises.
Read moreSigned up for the monthly plan on the site last week and it took three days before anyone replied to my message about the billing date. Nothing broke but I had to chase it twice on my phone while on the bus. Not happy about that, would expect better.
Read moreCompared to going through my old bank this was way quicker to set up, took about ten minutes on my phone on the bus home. Had a small hiccup where the ID photo kept failing so I had to retry twice and it asked me to use a different light. This is a solid choice if you want a bit of control over your money without fuss. I've used similar services before and the interface here is clearer than most. Setup took one evening and the first payment went through when it should have, though the help section could be easier to find.
I compared a few options before picking this one and it came out ahead on the things I cared about. The sign up was quick and the setup did what I needed without any fiddling. It's a little more expensive than the cheapest alternative but I think it's worth paying for.
The app is the main thing I use and it's pretty easy to get around, you can see all your bookings in one place. Booked a slot for the weekend and got a reminder the day before which was useful. Had to message support once because the time was wrong but they fixed it quick.
Compared with my old bank this was much quicker to get going, the whole sign up was done online in one sitting. The only thing I'd flag is that the first statement took a little longer to show up than I expected. Otherwise very pleased with the switch.
