Needed a new site up quick because my old one kept falling over and I had a client demo on Friday. Signed up late one night, had it live within the hour, which was pretty sweet. Support chat was fast too, cheers.
Read moreI've been with them for years now and renewed the domain bundle again this spring. The price went up more than I expected and the reminder emails came late, so I nearly missed the date. Still with them, but I'd like a clearer heads up.
Read moreI needed to get my business email working again after the old provider went under. I compared three hosts before choosing this one, and this one looked the most sensible on paper. The actual move dragged on for nearly a week, with my emails bouncing in the meantime, which was a real pain when clients were writing to me. Once it was sorted it's been fine, but I wish the timeline had been clearer…
Read moreCompared to the bigger names I looked at these were a lot cheaper for the same amount of storage, which was the main reason I went with them. Site has been up fine since I set it up for my mate's band. Only thing is the control panel is a bit clunky on my phone, so I mostly do stuff on the laptop now.
Looked at a few hosts before picking these and the live chat answered my pre sale questions within a minute, which sold me. Setting up the email side took a bit of fiddling but it works now.
Still with them after more years than I care to count, and the verdict hasn't changed much. The hosting is steady and I've had very few outages. My one gripe is the renewal price, which rose more than I'd like, and I think a loyalty discount would be fairer to people who've stuck around. Support is still friendly when I ring.
These are a sound choice for a small website and I have had no real problems since moving the bowls club page across. The renewal price went up a little more than I had been led to expect, which is why I have not given full marks. Support were patient when I asked them to explain the email settings to me.
The one click installs are the bit I use most, WordPress was up in about two minutes. Only thing is the dashboard took a couple of goes to find the email settings. Otherwise fine.
