PeopleFinders is an online people search service that helps users look up public records and contact details for individuals in the United States. The site draws on publicly available records such as addresses, phone numbers, court documents and background information, which users can search by name, location or phone number. It is used by people trying to reconnect with old contacts, verify the identity of someone they plan to meet, or check public records for personal or professional reasons.
Access is through a subscription or pay-per-report model, and results are presented as searchable reports that users view on the website. The company positions itself as a provider of information rather than a substitute for official records, and it sets out rules on permitted uses of the data.
