We were tired of traipsing round three supermarkets every week with two toddlers in tow, so I'd been looking for a proper online grocery service for months. The slots were easy to pick and the substitutions were sensible, I know what a decent swap looks like after years of doing this. Shopping list saved in the app which is handy.
Read moreGot the slot I wanted but the delivery window moved about twice on the day. Wasn't a huge deal but I had to keep checking the app. Items were mostly right, one thing was missing.
Read moreI needed a reliable way of getting my groceries in since my hip operation, and this has proved a sensible choice for me. The booking system is clear and I was able to set up a standing order without much fuss. The driver always helps me with the bags and is very courteous. I have no complaints at all and would happily recommend it to my neighbours who find the shops a struggle.
Read moreCompared it with the other delivery app I'd been using and this one had better slot choice on weekday evenings. The site was a bit slow to load at checkout though, took a few tries. Delivery itself was fine.
Tried it for the first time last week and it was mostly sorted. The checkout asked me to log in twice which was annoying. Delivery was on time and nothing got squashed.
I'd say it's a solid option, I've been using it for a few weeks now as a first-time customer. Substitutions were mostly fine but one item came in the wrong size and getting it sorted took a bit of back and forth in the chat. The delivery was on time and the driver was lovely. Prices are a touch higher than the big supermarkets, but I like not having to carry bags.
What I liked most was the note on each swap saying why it had been changed. I'd used two other services before and they just swapped things with no explanation. Price is a bit steeper than the cheapest option, but the delivery window was tight and they hit it.
