We had a pile of client files building up and needed something that would cope with a daily load without overheating. I looked at a few options elsewhere first and kept coming back to this one. The spec matched what we needed and the customer service rep answered my questions about the warranty within the hour. Machine has been running every day for a month without any trouble.
Read moreCompared with buying one from a big electricals chain, this was a fair bit cheaper for the same shred size. The difference is that the machine takes a bit longer to warm up before you can use it. Otherwise it does what I need for the house. Delivery was slow though, nearly a week, and I had to chase the order by email to find out where it was. Not dreadful but not great either.
Read moreOrdered a cross cut shredder from the site on my lunch break, mainly for the pile of old bank statements sat on my desk. Took about three days to arrive which was fine. The box was a bit squashed on one corner but the machine itself was fine. Only niggle is the bin is smaller than I'd like so I'm emptying it more often than I thought I would. Would still order again though, does the job well.

Got a mid range shredder for the study and it's done the basic job fine. The bin is smaller than I'd pictured so it needs emptying far more often than I'd like. Delivery took a few days and the driver left it with a neighbour. Not the end of the world but it's a bit of a faff. Price was about right.

Shreddingmachines is an online retailer based in the United Kingdom that sells paper shredders for home and office use. The website presents a range of cross cut, strip cut and micro cut machines from a selection of manufacturers, with product pages that set out the security level, sheet capacity and shredding medium of each model. Its customers include private individuals who want to dispose of personal documents safely as well as small businesses and home workers who need a dependable machine at the desk.
The company sells through its own website, where shoppers can compare models and buy them directly, and it supports its range with consumables such as bin bags and oil for the machines it stocks. Shreddingmachines is known for focusing narrowly on document destruction equipment rather than general office supplies, which gives its product pages a practical emphasis on security ratings and suitability for different volumes of paper.
