I'd been a bit worried about putting it together on my own but the instructions were clear and my husband only needed to lend a hand with the side rails. Got the pillow top topper for the old mattress. It does the job but the fabric is thinner than I expected and it slides about a bit under the fitted sheet. For the money it is okay, nothing special.
