Got the boiler cover on here instead of the big supermarket one I had last year, and it works out about a third cheaper for the same cover. The sign up took about ten minutes and I could see exactly what was included before paying. Haven't had to call them yet so can't speak to claims, but the renewal reminder came through on time. Would go with them again.

Bought a Fernox style magnetic filter to go on the return pipe after the system had got sludgy. Fitted it myself with a bit of help from a mate, took about an hour, and the fittings all lined up with my existing pipework. Flow feels better already and the radiators are heating up evenly. Would have liked a slightly longer hose in the box but otherwise fine.

The engineer arrived within the window they gave me, which I didn't expect from a company I'd only found the night before. The boiler cover costs less per month than what I'd been paying for a single callout, so it pays for itself the first time something goes wrong. I compared it against two other providers and the cover levels were roughly the same. The annual service is included, and the callout fee is covered too, so there's no nasty surprise on the bill. Set up was quick and I'd take it again.
