Plane & Simple

Needed a cheap trip to Spain for a wedding and the flights were stupid expensive elsewhere. Booked the package through here and it was far lower. Easy to do, no hidden bits.

Looked at a few sites for a Lisbon long weekend and this one came out cheapest once the flights were added. The results were easier to scroll through than the big names and the extras were listed up front. Booking took about ten minutes. The hotel was a bit further out than I'd have liked, but the price made up for it.

The cottage in Hay on Wye was just as the photos showed, with a proper wood burner and beds that were comfortable. I did ring them twice before we went, as I wanted to check the parking, and they came back to me within the same afternoon each time. The booking itself was straightforward and the price was fair for what we got. We'd be glad to stay in one of their places again.

Booked our first group trip through the site to Amsterdam for my friends birthday. The booking itself was fine but the hotel we got was in a much noisier part of town than the description said. Customer service took about three days to reply to my message about it, which was annoying when we were trying to sort things out before the flight. Not what I expected for the money we paid.

Booked a cottage in the Peak District on the app. Took about five minutes, the dates were easy to pick and the price was fair. Got the key codes sent the day before. Lovely place, no complaints.

We needed a week away with the kids over half term and everywhere was ridiculous. Found a self catering place in Cornwall through them that was half what the big sites wanted. Checked the price against three others and this was the lowest by a fair margin. Arrival was simple, key was where it should be, nothing extra charged on the way out. Good value and no fuss at all.

Booked a weekend in St Ives through them and it was dead easy. Only thing was the payment page kept timing out so I had to redo it once. Holiday itself was spot on, place looked just like the pics. Would book again.

Would happily go again.

We have been using them for coach trips since about 2014 and the booking has always been the same easy process. This time we went to the Yorkshire Dales for four days and the hotel was exactly as described. Our seats were booked where we wanted them. Nothing to say against them after all these years.

Booked a city break to Edinburgh on the app last month. Easy to search and the price was decent. Had a small issue where the hotel room wasn't quite what the photos showed, bit smaller than I thought, but staff sorted it out. Would use again tbh, rest was fine.

The only small issue was the parking was a little tight for our car, which they should maybe mention. Otherwise a good stay and a sensible price.

I've booked enough of them to know what matters, and their listings are accurate, the deposit and balance dates were clear, and the owner contact was quick. Nothing I'd change. Booking took a few minutes on a laptop.

The coach to Bath left on time and the driver was cheerful and patient with the older passengers. Booking the seats on the site took about two minutes, as it has every year since we started with them. Prices have crept up a little, but the service has held steady and we'll be back for the autumn trip.
