We needed somewhere to go for my dad's seventieth and the whole family wanted to be in one place. Booked a lodge in the Peak District for ten of us and the booking form was clear enough. The place was spotless and the host sorted the bedding when we'd forgotten it. Everyone had a brilliant weekend and my dad still talks about the walk we did on the Saturday.

I booked a short break in York for my husband's seventieth and the process was clear and easy to follow. The hotel was very well kept and the staff couldn't have been more helpful with a table for us.

Really happy with this one, booked a long weekend in the Lakes and it was spot on. The site was easy to use on my phone and the confirmation came through straight away so I wasn't refreshing my inbox all night. Would do it again no bother, just wish they had more dates for the cheaper rooms in summer.

The detail I noticed most was the rooftop wine tour in Porto, which had a proper sommelier and not just someone reading off a card. Booking was quick and the group was small. Only issue was the start time was moved by half an hour without much warning, so we nearly missed the first stop.

Took ages to hear back when I wanted to move my dates, I messaged on Monday and didn't get a reply until Thursday. Booking itself was fine and the hotel was ok. Just a bit slow when you need something changed.

I looked at three or four other operators for our trip to the Dolomites before settling on this one. They came out ahead on the price of the hotels and the group size was smaller than the rest. The guide was patient with those of us who were slower on the walks, and the transfers between towns never once made us wait. Really pleased we went with them.

Checked the hotel's own site first and this was about twenty quid less for the same room in Bath, with the train included. I didn't have to pay for the taxi from the station either, which I'd have had to sort myself. The booking itself was quick and the confirmation email had everything in it. We stayed three nights and the room was as described, so no complaints for the money.

Good first experience with them, the holiday in Dorset was what we'd paid for and the booking was simple. The only thing was the confirmation email went to spam and I had to ask for it to be resent. Would book again.

Needed a cheap escape from uni for reading week so I went for a budget hostel break in Bristol. The booking was quick and the place was fine, though the wifi was dodgy. Would probably book again if the price stays this good.

Honestly it was a bit more than I'd have paid booking the flights myself. The holiday itself in Lisbon was fine, the apartment was clean and the check in was easy. Would probably look around more next time.

Compared with another holiday site I usually check, this was about forty quid more for the same hotel in Majorca. The room was fine but the pool was closed for half the week. Customer service took three days to answer my question about it.

I needed a break after a rough few months and my sister suggested this. Booked a cottage in Cornwall for four nights and it was exactly what we wanted. Easy to sort out and the host was lovely.

We booked the Coast Path walking week in Devon again, which is our eighth year with them now. The route notes were printed and waiting at the hotel reception and the luggage transfer between the inns went without a fuss. The guide knew every bench and every cafe on the way, and the rooms were just what we like. Same as always, which is exactly what we wanted.
