The verdict is it was a lovely stay and the booking on the app was quick. The room was spotless and the staff were friendly when we arrived late. Would stay again next time we're down.

I compared a few places before booking and this one looked best online, but the room was not as good as the photos. The bathroom was smaller and the window looked onto the bins. I rang the hotel to ask about it and it took two days to get a reply. They did knock a bit off the price after I complained. The staff were polite when we got there but the room was a disappointment for the money.

The first thing I noticed was the room rate, which was a bit more than the place we stayed at last year. It did have a decent bathroom and a kettle, which is more than some budget places offer. The sea view from our room was the best bit of the whole trip, you can see the pier from the balcony. Parking is a bit of a squeeze in the car park though and we had to ring down twice to sort the gate. Otherwise it was a nice stay.
