Needed a break from uni so booked a cheap weekend in Brighton. The booking took like two mins on my phone, the app is easy. The room was lovely and the location was class, right by the seafront.

The balcony was the thing that made me pick this one, it looked out over the harbour in Cornwall and the sunsets were lovely. I've stayed in a few of these coastal places and this one was properly quiet at night. Booking was simple and the host replied to my question about the car park within the hour. Will definitely go back.

I compared a few places before settling on this one for a week in Whitby. It came in somewhat dearer than the other guest houses I looked at, though I did like the sea view from our room. The booking was handled very properly, though I did have to chase the deposit receipt. A pleasant stay on the whole.

We needed somewhere with space for four of us and a dog for a long weekend in the Cotswolds. I've booked a fair few holiday lets so I know what to look for in the photos and the listing. This one had the garden and dog friendly policy spelled out clearly. The only thing was the wifi was patchy in the back bedroom, but it was fine for everything else.

This was my first time booking a holiday through them, a week in a cottage in Devon for my husband's birthday. The booking process was clear and they sent a proper welcome pack with directions and local tips. The cottage was spotless and the owners left us a welcome basket with local cheese and bread. Very pleased, and we'll be booking again next year.

Here the total was what I saw at the start. The hotel was a short walk from the station, the room was quiet, and the staff were friendly when I asked about luggage storage after checkout. Booking the next one with them.

Booked a hotel in Glasgow city centre, good location near the Sauchiehall Street shops. Room was a bit small but the bathroom was great and the shower was powerful. Would stay again.

Booked a weekend in Bath on the app, took about two minutes which was great. Had to cancel a week later and the refund took nearly ten days to show up, which was a bit annoying. The hotel itself was lovely though, nice and central. Would use them again.

Looked at this against a couple of other sites for a weekend in Liverpool. It was about the same as the cheapest one before fees, but a bit more after. Hotel was alright, room was small and the bathroom was dated. Fine for a night out but nothing to shout about.

We needed a cheap place to stay for a hen do in Blackpool and I was the one who had to find it. Compared to the usual sites it was a bit more for the same spot, but the rooms were big enough for six of us. The check in went smoothly. The only real snag was the parking, which was a lot further away than the listing made it sound.

The room was spotless and the staff could not have been more helpful when we asked about the local bus timetable for the coast path. We had a quiet week in Pembrokeshire and I did not feel rushed at any point. The breakfast was generous and the lady at reception remembered our names by the second morning, which I thought was very kind of her. I would be happy to return.

I have used this firm for holidays for about fifteen years now and they have never let me down. The latest trip to Torquay was a week in a self catering flat by the marina. Booking was as easy as it always is and the flat was exactly as described. Will keep coming back.

Booked a three night city break in Edinburgh, my first time using them. The hotel itself was in a good spot and the room had a decent view over the castle. Booking went smoothly and the confirmation email had everything I needed, including the check in times and a number to ring.

Stayed in a hotel near Manchester Piccadilly for a work trip, and it was perfectly decent. The price was higher than I'd expected once the fees came through at checkout, which annoyed me a bit. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Wouldn't rule them out but I'd check the total before paying.

The room layout was the detail that caught me out, the bathroom was through the bedroom with no door on the bedroom side. I know the Edinburgh hotels pretty well from years of business trips so I'd rate this one as a decent mid range option. The bed was good and the breakfast was solid. Check-in took a fair while because the front desk was short staffed on the Saturday. Still a reasonable base for the price.

Bought a two night city break package to Bristol, mainly for the hotel and the train pass. The hotel was clean and the room was a nice size. Confirmation came quickly but the train pass wasn't in the email, I had to ask on the chat. Once sorted it was all fine, a bit of a fiddle to start with.
