I needed somewhere to take my mum for her birthday after a rough year and I had no idea where to start. Booking was easy, the call back came the same afternoon and the weekend in the Lakes was just what we both needed. Would book again.

Tried a different tour firm last year and this one was far better. The hotel in Bath was in the centre, not a long way out like before, and the group was a sensible size. Booking was simple and the confirmation came straight away.

Compared with booking the hotels direct this was a bit more expensive, but the transfers and the guided walks made it worth it for us. Knew the area well from years of hiking, and the route they chose in the Dales was better than what I'd have planned. Only real complaint is the rooms in one hotel were smaller than shown.

Booked the Manchester city break and the hotel was not what the pictures showed, smaller and further from the centre. Took three days to get anyone to reply about the room change. Coach was late on the way back too, so I was not impressed.

The guide was the highlight, she knew all the stories behind the Yorkshire abbeys and kept the group laughing. Got my ticket on the app and the coach pickup was right where it said. Lunch stop was a bit rushed but fine. Would go again.

Good value for a family weekend away, four of us for a bit under what we'd have paid elsewhere. Everything was included, no surprise charges at the end, and the kids were kept busy the whole time. Would not hesitate to book again.

Went for the two night bundle in the Lake District with coach transfers and a boat ticket. Good value for what you get, everything was included and nothing was hidden in the small print. Coach left on time and the boat crossing was smooth.

Picked the Snowdonia walking package after comparing a few options. Route was well marked, the guide knew the area inside out and the B&B was spotless. Lunch was included and the pace suited me well, though I'd have liked a bit more time at the top.

I would say the Bath tour was well organised and the guide was very knowledgeable about the architecture. The price was on the high side compared with the bus operators, though I do not begrudge it. The coach arrived promptly and the hotel was comfortable.

Looked at three firms before picking this one for a city break in York. This came out cheapest once the walking tour was included, and the hotel was well placed for the station. Guide was friendly, the timings were clear and the only niggle was the group was bigger than the pictures suggested.

We wanted something a bit different to mark his retirement, and this was the only company I found that offered a proper small group trip to the Scottish islands. Everything ran to time and the guide took the group to a lovely little bakery nobody else knew about. Only thing was the online booking form kept timing out, but they sorted it over the phone.

The timetable emailed the day before was the thing I noticed most, every stop and time laid out properly, which made the Cotswolds day so easy with two little ones. Coach driver helped us with the bags, the pub lunch was good and the guide handled the wet weather well. Booking took about five minutes on my phone while waiting for the kettle. Really glad we went and would book the same again next year.

Booked with them for the fourth year running and they have never let us down. The itinerary was clear from the start, the coach transfers were on time every single day and our guide in Cornwall knew every hidden cove along the coast path. We will be back next summer for sure.

Compared them with booking the same coach trip through a supermarket and they came out about the same money once you add the extras. The supermarket one has fewer stops though. Their trip was well organised and the guide was good, just nothing special for the price.

Never booked a trip like this before so I was nervous. Verdict is they were good, the group was sound and the hotel in Edinburgh was clean. Took a few days to get a reply to my question about the deposit, which was the only bit that dragged.

The coach transfer from the station was forty minutes late and nobody told us why until we asked. Otherwise the boat ticket and the two night stay were fine, the hotel was clean and near the water. Took a few days for them to reply to my email about the delay. Not the end of the world but I'd expect better for the price.

Went for the guided walking weekend in the Peak District. Pace was right for a mixed group, the packed lunches were actually decent and the route notes on the app were handy when the signal dropped. Only small gripe was the pickup point was a bit tricky to find.
