Booked a two berth campervan for a long weekend in Cornwall. The van itself was clean and drove well, but the extras added up fast once I'd ticked the bedding pack, the cable hook up and the cleaning fee. Compared with what I paid last year elsewhere it's dearer for the same kit. Pick up was on time and the handover took about twenty minutes. Price is the thing I'd question.

We needed a motorhome for a week in Scotland with two kids and the dog. I looked at three other rental firms first and kept coming back to this one because the layouts were clearer and the reviews on the pages were from people who'd actually driven the things. Booking was simple and the van was ready at the depot when we turned up. The kids loved the bunk above the cab.

Fine for what it is, gets the job done. Took a few days to get a reply when I had a question about the drop off time. The van was clean enough though.

Honestly the little fridge in the van was the best bit, kept everything cold for three days. Booked it on my phone in like ten minutes. Pick up was easy and the bloke at the depot was dead helpful. Would go again.

Needed a low profile van to fit a garage roof and most sites don't list the height properly. Here the height and length are on every listing and the staff confirmed it on the phone. Picked up on schedule and the van was in good nick. Exactly what I wanted.

Compared to the other site I tried first, the booking was a lot quicker and didn't ask me to make an account before I could see prices. Picked a motorhome for a long weekend in the Lake District and the pick up was smooth, the staff walked us round it and showed us the water tanks. Only small niggle was the deposit being taken earlier than I expected, but it was returned within a few days of bringing it back.

Easiest company we've hired from, plain and simple, and we've been using them since our first trip to the Highlands about eight years ago. The booking page works the way you'd expect and the staff remember returning customers. Last summer we had a problem with the heating on the second night and they had an engineer out to us the next morning, which I didn't expect. The van has been well kept every time.

The live availability calendar was what made me pick them over the other two sites I checked. You can see which weeks are free for each vehicle and change dates without ringing anyone. Price was about in line with the rest. The handover was a bit slow because the previous hirer was late back, but staff were apologetic and sorted it.

Way better than the big chain I used before, the site is quicker and the van was actually where they said. Booked on my phone between meetings and it took two minutes. The pick up point was a bit out of town so that's a small ding.

The built in sat nav in the van was the thing I noticed most, actually useful for the twisty roads. Booked it through the app, really easy. Got the van at the right time. Loved it.
