Balkan Holidays

Compared it to booking the Croatia coast trip ourselves on a comparison site and it came out a good bit more expensive, but the hotels were in better spots and the transfers were already sorted. We didn't have to chase anything once we'd paid. Would use them again for a group trip.

Booked a city break to Sarajevo as my first trip with them. The booking went through fine but I had to email twice before anyone got back to me about my seat request, and it took about four days. The hotel was nice and the guide was good when we got there, so it worked out in the end. Just a bit slow on the admin side.

Booked the eight day coach tour through Montenegro and Albania as my first trip with them. The booking page was clear about what was included and I got the confirmation straight away. The driver was friendly and the hotels were good, with breakfast every morning. Didn't have a single problem from start to finish.

Went with them for a Montenegro trip, first time using them, and found it cheaper than booking the flights and hotel separately. Booking the holiday was simple enough on the site. The only annoyance was the rep was slow to reply when we had a question about the transfer. Once we got there everything ran as planned.

Wanted a tour that covered several countries in the Balkans without planning every stop myself. The itinerary laid out the border crossings and overnight stops clearly. Our guide knew the area well and the pace suited us. Bookings and the trip itself were smooth.

The transfer details arrived the morning before we flew which was the detail I liked most. Driver was waiting at arrivals with a sign and took us straight to the hotel. Price was fair for what it was. Simple and no fuss.

They have never let us down in the twenty years we have been going with them, and that is saying something. We have done coach tours in Croatia and a river cruise in Hungary. The rep always rings the day before to check on everything and sorts out any niggles without fuss. It is the same friendly team every time, which we appreciate.

Price was the main reason we went with them, and the total we paid at the end matched what we saw at the start. The hotel breakfasts were generous and the coach was comfortable for the long drives. Excursions were included rather than being upsold on the day. Good value for a family of four.

Needed a cheap long weekend away with my mates so went looking on here. Found a Lisbon deal that was decent and the booking was quick, took about five minutes on my phone. Flights were on time and the hotel was clean and in a good spot near the metro. Would use them again for sure.

The hotel on the Dubrovnik trip was a fair bit further out from the old town than the map made it look, so we ended up paying for taxis most nights which wasn't in the budget. The flights were fine and the price was the reason we booked, but I'd have liked a heads up about the distance before we paid. Customer service took a few days to come back to my email about it.
