Alpine Elements

I booked a weekend city break through the app as my first time using it. Sign up took two minutes and the payment went through first try. The apartment was clean and in a good spot, and the host left a welcome note. Really easy first experience.

I've been booking short breaks for years so I know what to look for, and this was a solid pick for a weekend in the Lake District. The map view made it easy to see which villages were close to the trails. Check-in wasn't quite as smooth as the booking, the instructions came through late the evening before. Still a fair price for what we got.

We needed somewhere quiet near my daughter's place for the grandkids' half term. We have booked through here for years and it's always been straightforward. Booking was simple, the cottage had everything we needed and the host was easy to reach when the boiler played up. Very pleased, as always.

Good, reliable service and we have used it for years for our city breaks. Booking was smooth as always and the price was fair for what we got. The only thing this time was the confirmation email took a day longer than usual to arrive, which had me worried for a bit. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

Had a mate's wedding come up with about ten days notice and needed somewhere to stay near the venue. Found a room on here and it was dead easy to book. The room was smaller than the listing made it look and the kettle didn't work, which was annoying, but the host sorted a replacement the next morning so not the end of the world. Would use again for a quick trip I think.

Compared to the other site I used for a ski trip this was quicker to sign up and the prices were lower. Booked on my phone on the bus, took a few minutes. Transfers were fine.

Honestly the app is so easy to use, we needed a place for a festival weekend in Bristol and it showed loads of options in about two minutes. Booked on the bus home and got the confirmation straight away. Host was chatty and the flat was clean. Would use again no question.

We booked the two night coastal break with breakfast included. Paid less than we would have through the big booking sites and the breakfast was a proper cooked one each morning. Confirmation came straight through and the pack of local walking maps they posted ahead was a nice touch. Check in and the room were exactly as described. For a budget break I think it's hard to beat.

Checked three other sites before picking this one, and the price here was the lowest for the same hotel. Booking was simple and the cancellation terms were clearer than the rest. The hotel itself was as listed, nice breakfast. Happy with it.

Honestly really happy with this one, booked a long weekend cabin through the site and it was exactly what the pictures showed. Booking took about five minutes on the app, host replied to a quick question the same evening, and the check in was easy with the code they sent. Only niggle was the wifi being patchy in the evenings, but we were out most of the time anyway so no biggie.
