Compared with my usual wine shop, this site gives a much better spread of bottles for the money, and I've been a regular for years now. The white Rioja I've been buying is always well chilled on arrival. Customer service has always been polite when I've needed them, and I trust the descriptions.
Read moreBeen ordering from them for years and the wine itself is still fine, but the delivery has got really slow lately. My last order sat at the depot for four days before it moved, and the customer service email I sent about it took nearly a week to get a reply. Prices have crept up too, so I'm not sure I'll bother much longer.
Read moreI've bought the sparkling rosé from them more times than I can count now, it's the one thing I always reorder when they have it in stock. Packing is always careful, the bottles arrive cold enough and nothing has ever broken. The staff on the phone were lovely when I rang to ask about a case I wanted to swap for something sweeter, and they sorted it straight away.
Read moreOrdered a sparkling wine for a birthday and it was really cheap for what it is. Site works fine on my phone and the bottles turned up the next day. Dead easy.

Forgot it was my mate's stag weekend drinks till last minute so needed beer and wine in a hurry. Sorted the order on my phone on the way home and it got to the house the next afternoon. Easy, no fuss.
I looked at a few places before settling on this one, and the mixed case here had more bottles I actually wanted to drink. What I bought was a reds and whites bundle, and the labels and notes were easy to read. Everything arrived in good order and the price per bottle worked out well.
I needed a bottle for my dad's retirement and I'd forgotten about it until the week before. Found this site, picked a decent Rioja and had it booked for next-day delivery. It arrived on time, nicely wrapped, and Dad was made up with it.
Went with the mixed case of reds because I wanted to try a few things before buying more. The bottles arrived well padded, nothing broken, and the tasting notes on the labels were actually useful. Really happy with the first order and I'll be back.
The detail that struck me was how carefully they'd noted the vintage and the producer on each listing, which made my cellar planning much easier. I ordered a mixed case of Burgundy and the bottles arrived in good condition. I've not had any issues with them, which is just what one wants from a supplier.
I would say the prices are very fair for what you get here. I ordered a selection of white wines for a dinner party I was hosting, and the descriptions were clear enough that I knew what to expect. Everything arrived in good condition and I'd happily order from them again.
Compared it to buying off the big supermarket website and this was so much cheaper for the same bottles, honestly. Ordered on my phone during lunch, checkout was quick and the box turned up the next day. Got a couple of reds and a prosecco for a mate's birthday and everyone liked them.

We were having my sister round for the weekend and I needed a few decent bottles in a hurry, since my usual shop was closed for the bank holiday. I placed the order online and the bottles arrived the next morning. The selection was good and the prices were in line with what I'd expect, and I've ordered again since.

Wine on Sale is an online wine retailer based in the United Kingdom that sells a broad selection of wines, with a focus on discounted bottles from well-known producers and regions. The website lists wines by style, origin and price, allowing customers to compare offers across red, white, rosé and sparkling wines. Customers can browse its promotions and seasonal selections from a single online storefront.
The business sells to individual consumers who want good-value bottles for everyday drinking, entertaining and gifts. Orders are placed through the website and delivered to the customer's address, with the company operating as a direct retailer rather than through a network of shops.
