Better than the other two i tried

Better than the other two I tried before this, mainly because the recipes don't need half a shop worth of extra bits. The portions were right for two and the delivery came on the day the app promised. Simple.

First time ordering, very pleased

First time ordering and I was surprised how smoothly it went. The cut-off for next week's delivery was clear and the box turned up in the morning like they said. Fresh food, decent portions, no complaints from me.

way better than my old takeaway habit

Way better than my old takeaway habit, honestly. Cheaper than ordering in twice a week and I'm actually eating vegetables now. Signing up was quick and it was sorted before I'd finished my tea.

the pork tenderloin meal

I bought the pork tenderloin meal as a first go and it was lovely, properly tender and the sauce came together nicely. Everything in the box was labelled clearly so there was no hunting about. Good start.

The packaging was a disappointment

The first thing I noticed was that the vegetables had gone limp, which was a real shame given what I paid for the box. I did ring their customer line and they were polite about it, but the replacement took four days to arrive and I'm afraid I won't be trying them again.

First box and no fuss

Needed something to get me cooking again after my mum went into hospital and I was basically eating cereal over the sink. Signed up on the site in about five minutes, picked the two-person plan and the box turned up the next day, chilled and everything in the right bags. Recipes are simple enough to follow with one hand while the kettle boils.

needed something for the week

I needed something easy to cook for the week after my flatmate moved out and I was living on toast. The box turned up on the day they said and everything I needed was in there. Really handy.

Way better than the supermarket one

Compared to the supermarket ready meals I used to grab on the way home, this is a different league. Took about twenty minutes to cook, tastes like proper food and I've not got a load of washing up. Ordering on the app took two taps.

needed a reliable dinner plan

I needed a reliable dinner plan after a few months of takeaways eating into the budget. I tried three services and this one was the easiest to pause and restart when I was away. Recipes are simple, and the ingredients have been in good nick every time.

A sound option for weeknights

A sound option for weeknights, I'd say, though the recipes are a little on the rich side for my liking. The instructions are clear and the box arrived well chilled. I'd be happy to keep ordering for the weeknights.

yeah pretty good

Yeah pretty good tbh. Food was tasty and the box came on time. Only thing is the sauce sachet was a bit fiddly to open, took me ages with scissors. Would order again.

the chicken fajita kit

Got the chicken fajita kit and it was decent, tortillas were soft and the spice mix had a nice kick. Bit of a faff measuring out the lime juice but nothing major. Would get it again.

needed a way to eat better

I needed a way to eat better after my doctor had a word about my cholesterol, and I've been with them for a good while now. The meals are balanced without tasting like cardboard, and I like that the nutritional info is easy to find on each recipe. Delivery has been consistent, which matters when you're planning a week around it. The site makes changing my box simple.

the sachets though

The sachets though, every single one needed a bit of effort to get open and one split on the counter. Food itself is nice and it arrived when it was meant to. Just a bit annoying.

Never had a bad box

Never had a bad box in all the time I've used them. The recipes always taste like I expected and the quantities mean no leftovers stinking out the fridge. Easy to skip a week when we go away, which I value.

Still the same after all these years

I've been with them going on six years now and what stands out is how consistent the portions have stayed. The price has crept up a bit over that time, which I noticed when the new year rates came in. Still fine value for what you get.

Best meal kit i've used

Honestly the best meal kit I've tried in years. I've been ordering from them since they started and the portions are always right, the recipe cards actually make sense and the ingredients come fresh and properly cold. I cook a lot so I know the difference and this is the one I stick with now.

Tried a few before settling on this

Compared to the other two boxes I tried first, the recipes here are less faffy and the flavours are better balanced. The one slight niggle is the cost per portion is a touch higher than the cheaper option. Delivery was spot on every week so far.

the veggie box every fortnight

I order the veggie box every fortnight and have done for ages. The produce is always fresh, the swaps they offer when something is out of season are sensible, and the delivery window has been reliable. Ordering takes me about a minute on the site.

The family box for sunday

I bought the family box for our Sunday lunch with the grandchildren and it was exactly what I hoped for. The instructions were clear enough for me to manage without ringing anyone, and the portions stretched to seconds for everyone. I'm grateful, it saved me a great deal of fuss on a busy day.
