The smell when you open the tin

The smell when you open the tin is honestly the best bit. Chai is spiced just right and not too sweet. Easy site to use, got it in a couple of days. Hard to fault really, will order again soon.

Better than the one I was using

Compared to the herbal blend I'd been buying from a health food shop, this one tastes far more like a proper tea and not like hay. I tried two other brands first and they were either too weak or too sweet. The peppermint and ginger combo is spot on and the tin kept its smell.

needed something for the bedtime cup

I needed a caffeine free option for the evenings after my husband passed and the chamomile my doctor suggested was hard to find locally. The tea is pleasant enough, though the blend is a little weaker than I'd like and I had to brew it longer. The order was packed carefully and it came when they said, which I appreciated.

Not as good as the cheaper option

Compared to the supermarket loose leaf I usually get, this is noticeably pricier and I didn't think the flavour was that much better. The assam was a bit flat and the bag was half empty when it arrived, which annoyed me. I'll probably go back to the cheaper one next time.

The oolong sampler box

I got the oolong sampler box after looking at a couple of other tea subscriptions and reading a few forums. This one had more variety for the money and the tasting notes on the card were actually useful. The first brew was lovely and I've already gone back for a full bag of the roasted one.

The gift set felt a bit thin

I bought the gift set for my brother-in-law and the selection was lovely, but the tins were smaller than the photo suggested, which was a bit disappointing for the price. The tea itself was good. I'd have liked a bit more of a sense of what was inside before buying.

Solid lapsang souchong

This is a solid lapsang souchong, the smoke is right without tasting like a bonfire. I know the style well from years of buying from specialist shops, and this one holds its own. The only slight annoyance was that the delivery took a day longer than I'd have liked.

The chai blend is ace

The chai blend is properly spiced, not that dusty stuff you get in cheap bags. Ordered on my phone during my lunch break, took about two minutes. Delivery was next day. Already told my housemates.

Better than the supermarket one

Compared it to the tea bags I normally grab from the supermarket and this is a different world, much fuller flavour. Got the breakfast blend, brewed it strong with a splash of milk and it held up nicely. Delivery was quick too, arrived in two days. Only wish I'd tried it sooner, honestly.

Better than my usual coffee shop

Way better than the bags I used to pick up from the big chain, the flavour's much richer and it doesn't taste burnt. Compared to a few independent roasters I'd tried, this was cheaper per cup and the delivery came in a padded envelope with no fuss. Ordered the second one straight after the first.

first order of the rooibos

Got the rooibos as my first order after a mate recommended it. Tastes nice and smooth, no need for sugar. Arrived a day later than the site said but otherwise fine.

Good value for daily use

The english breakfast is the verdict for me, it is strong enough to stand up to milk and costs less per cup than what I was buying before. I order the large size every few weeks and it has never disappointed. The site is easy to use and delivery is always on time.

Needed a quick top up

Ran out of my green tea on a Tuesday and needed more before the weekend. Ordered on my phone during a lunch break, took about two minutes. Arrived fast and tastes just as I remember.

Stock up for the price

I needed something decent for the office kitchen that wouldn't cost a fortune every month. The big bag of breakfast tea works out cheaper per cup than the branded stuff from the cash and carry. It's a good strong brew and the bag is big enough that I'm not reordering every week. Sensible buy.

Reorder when the cupboard runs low

I've been ordering from them for about six years now, mainly because our local shop stopped stocking the loose leaf green tea I like and I got fed up with teabags. The order arrives quickly most of the time and the packaging keeps the leaf fresh. Keeps me going through the winter months.

The earl grey was good

I picked up the earl grey as my first order because I'd seen it recommended. The bergamot is nice and not too perfumey. Delivery took a couple of days longer than the site said, but it arrived fine and the tea was good.

Best loose leaf I've had for the money

I compared a few loose leaf sellers before settling on them and this is the one I keep going back to. The sencha is bright and grassy with no bitterness at the end, which is what I wanted. Ordering was dead easy and the parcel turned up in two days. Only thing is the bags are a bit fiddly to reseal once opened, but the tea is what matters here. Would buy again.

A pleasant enough darjeeling

The darjeeling I ordered is the muscatel style, floral and light, which is what I was after. The tin was packed well and the tea was fresh. My one niggle is the price, which is a little above what I'd expect for this quantity, though I suppose the quality justifies it somewhat.

The rooibos is great

Rooibos is the one I always go back to and this one is great, smooth and naturally sweet with no need for sugar. The only thing is the pouch is a bit fiddly to reseal, so I've started decanting it into a jar. Would still get it again.
