Not much cheaper in the end

I'd assumed this would be the cheaper option compared with the online veg box I was using before. Once the delivery charge was added it came out about the same, which was a bit disappointing. The produce itself is good and the quality is clearly better than the supermarket.

Ordered for the holiday cottage

I needed some local produce to leave in the holiday cottage for our guests, so I placed an order a fortnight before their arrival. Ordering was straightforward and the items came well packed, though one of the jams had a cracked seal which I had to mention and it was replaced without much fuss. The honey was lovely and the guests were charmed by it.

decent cookies, bit pricey

Ordered the cookies from them last week on my phone, quick and easy to check out. They came in two days and tasted proper good, way fresher than the usual shop ones. Bit pricey for what you get though.

Cheaper than the farm shop

Before this I'd been buying the same kind of oat milk from the farm shop down the road for more money. Ordered a multipack here and the price per carton works out a fair bit lower. The taste is the same to me, though the box did arrive with one carton slightly warm.

lots of food for the money

The bulk bag of rice and lentils came to a lot less per kilo than the big supermarket. Good for feeding the family without the bill going mad. Nothing to complain about.

Tried a few before settling

Tried a few different meal kit companies before this one and it's the best of them. Simple to set up, the recipes are clear and the portions are right for two. I'd be glad to keep ordering from them.

needed a gift for my dad

I needed a present for my dad's 60th and wanted something he'd actually use, so I picked a hamper of local cheese and chutney. Placing the order was simple enough and the confirmation came quickly. The one annoyance was the delivery window, which was a full day and I had to wait in for it. The hamper itself was packed nicely and Dad was really pleased with it.

good stuff but pricey

Really nice cheese, the box was cold when it arrived which was good. Just a bit pricey for what you get, I'd pick it for a treat rather than every week. Would still order again.

knows his tea

I've been buying loose leaf tea for over twenty years, so I know what a good Assam should taste like. This one has the malty depth I expect, with a clean finish and no dust in the packet. They pack it in tins that keep the leaf fresh for weeks.

way better than the shop ones

Tried the cookies from them after my mate kept going on about it. Way better than the ones from the shop, softer and not too sweet. Ordered again the next week lol.

Went with these over two other brands

I'd looked at two other brands for organic porridge oats and these came out on top. The oats cook up creamy and the bag was easy to reseal. Delivery was quick and the price is the middle of the three.

The tiny handwritten labels

What got me first was the little handwritten labels on each jar, with the date and what's in it. It made the whole order feel like it came from someone's kitchen rather than a warehouse. The jam tasted as good as it looked and the jars were wrapped well for the post.

needed a last minute birthday cake

We had a family party sprung on us and I needed a proper cake delivered by Saturday morning, so I went looking online. The order took about five minutes to put together and the confirmation came straight away. Turned up on time and it looked just like the photo on the site, which was a relief with my nephew's football theme.

the box had a note in it

The first thing I noticed was a little note tucked in with the coffee saying who had roasted it and when. Little touch, but I liked it. The beans were fresh and the grind was spot on for my cafetiere.

Carefully packed and well made

I was looking for a proper biscuit for my afternoon tea and I'm glad I came across these. The tin arrived with each biscuit wrapped separately, which I found rather considerate. They have kept beautifully and my visitors have been asking where I got them from.

Great, would order again

Honestly really good. Ordered a box of snacks for my flatmates on a Friday night, arrived quick and everything was fresh. Easy to use the site too, will be ordering again for sure.

better than the supermarket version

Compared with the stuff I'd been buying from the supermarket, this is a clear step up in flavour. The coffee beans came roasted properly and didn't taste stale like the bagged ones. Good value for the quality too.

The spice blend for a curry night

I'd never used a proper garam masala before and ordered the spice blend from them to try for a curry night with friends. It smelt amazing when I opened the pouch and the flavour came through well in the sauce. The pouch was resealable and it arrived within two days. I've since bought the sampler pack too.

Needed something for a tea party

We needed a proper afternoon tea spread for my mum's 80th and I'd used this lot for years for smaller things, so I went straight to them. They're always spot on with the cakes and sandwiches, the tiers arrived sturdy and everything was still fresh. Ordering on the app took five minutes and the reminder email the day before was a nice touch. Would order again for the next family do.

the sourdough loaf every week

I've been having the seeded sourdough from them for about four years now, delivered on a Thursday to the house. The loaf is the same every time, which is what I want from bread. Account is easy to change if we go away, and they've never once forgotten a delivery in all that time.
