My Vegetable Garden

I have been a subscriber for some months now and the box is generally very good. On one occasion the cabbage was somewhat tired when it arrived, and I did mention it. Otherwise I have no particular complaint.

The kale is massive, like proper big leaves, nothing like the stuff from the supermarket. Lasted ages in the fridge and the flavour is much stronger. Carrots were muddy but that's the point really. Will keep ordering.

Bought the seasonal veg box on Tuesday, arrived Thursday morning which was fine. Leeks were a bit bruised on one side but the rest was lovely, carrots still had the soil on them which I liked. Didn't have to wait long for the next one to be scheduled, the site made it easy to skip a week when we went away. Would order again, just wish the potatoes came in a paper bag rather than plastic.

Wanted to cut down on food waste and stop overbuying. Works out cheaper than my usual shop for the same veg, and nothing has gone off before I got to it. Good value for a family of four.

Quality is great but deliveries are a bit hit and miss, the last one came about half a day later than the window. Fine if you are in during the day. The app could do with a reminder before the box comes.

Compared to the supermarket delivery I was using, this box is much fresher and the mix is more interesting. Most of the veg lasted a full week in the fridge which never happens with the shop. First order arrived on time and well packed.

Good value for what you get, especially when you compare it to buying organic in the shop. Portions are generous and the veg keeps well if you store it properly. Would buy again.

Wanted to start eating more veg and didnt know where to begin, so got the starter box to see what it was like. Everything arrived in good condition and the recipe ideas on the site helped a lot. The box was more than I can eat in a week but I'll adjust the size next time.

The box is actually good, didnt expect much tbh. Got the mixed one for me and my housemate and it's lasted us the week. Courgettes were huge, got through them all in a stir fry. Easy to skip a week on the app when we're away.

I have been with them since before the pandemic and the veg is still consistently good. The swaps they make when something is out of season are sensible. Easy to change my delivery day on the app too.

I bought the mixed beetroot and carrot bundle for a soup I make each autumn. The beetroot arrived quite small and a few were soft, which was disappointing for the price. The carrots were good though. I have seen bigger bundles elsewhere for less, so I may look around before ordering again.
