Much smoother than the café version

Compared with the matcha I was buying at a café near work, this is much smoother and doesn't have that chalky bitterness. I make it at home now with oat milk and it holds up really well. Sieving it first makes a difference, which I learned after a lumpy first attempt. Delivery was quick and the tin was sealed nicely, so I've not had any issues. Would happily keep ordering.

Good value for the money

Good value for the money, and I'd order again. Bought a 1kg tin for the office kitchen since the cheaper stuff from the supermarket was tasting like grass. This one's properly vibrant, goes a long way when you whisk it, and the price per cup works out lower than the coffee shop. Packed well and arrived quickly.

better than the one from the shop

Compared with the one I was buying from the shop, this is noticeably smoother and the colour is a lot more appealing. I'm not one for fuss but I was pleased with the result. The order arrived when promised and everything was in good order.

The green is so bright

The green is so bright it looks fake in the pic but it's real, I promise. Makes a proper frothy latte with a bit of honey. Quick delivery and nice packaging, would order again.

the ceremonial grade tin

Bought the ceremonial grade tin for a bit of a treat. It's bright and grassy and mixes without clumping if you do it right. Price is fair for what you get and the order turned up two days later. Did the job.

Needed something for uni mornings

Needed something quick for uni mornings that wasn't another sad instant coffee. Ordered on a Sunday and it came Tuesday. Mixes in seconds with a little whisk, tastes proper, and I've already told my flatmates to nick a bit. Lovely stuff honestly, zero regrets.

Fair enough, but a bit pricey

Compared with the supermarket matcha I used to buy, this is a good deal richer in flavour and the powder is finer. I did find the price a little steep for what is a small pot, and the first delivery arrived with the lid not quite sealed, which I mentioned to them and they sorted quickly. I'd probably buy it again for a treat, but not every week.

Decent but a bit slow to arrive

Ordered the matcha on my phone between lectures and it did the job, tastes fine and mixes without clumps. Took about four days to turn up though, which was longer than the page said.

Tried a few before settling on this

Needed a proper matcha for my wife's birthday breakfast routine and ended up trying three different brands first. This one was smoother than the cheaper options and the price was about the middle of them. The tin was a bit fiddly to open at first because the seal was tight. Once I got going it was fine, and it's now our go-to.

Quick order, nice matcha

Ordered on Sunday night and it came Tuesday, which was fine. The matcha is smooth and not bitter at all, makes a proper frothy top when I whisk it. Easy checkout too.

First order, pleasantly simple

Wanted to try matcha properly after a friend kept going on about it. First order was easy enough and the tin came well packed. It's a bit of a learning curve getting the whisking right, but it's lovely once you do.

The colour surprised me

The colour surprised me most, it's a proper bright green, nothing like the dull powder I'd had before. A tin lasts me about five weeks with a couple of cups a day, which is decent for the price. Nothing else to report, it does what I wanted.

Tried three others first

Went through three other brands before picking this one. The ordering was simple and the price sat in the middle of the pack. The bit that stood out was how the tin had a slightly stale smell when it arrived, which put me off a bit at first. Taste was alright once mixed but not as clean as I'd hoped.

Been ordering for years now

I've been ordering from them for years now and the ceremonial grade is still the one I come back to. Reliable colour, reliable taste, and the order has never gone astray. Price has crept up a little but it's still fair. Delivery is always on time.

First time, bit of a learning curve

First time buying matcha so I wasn't sure what to get. The tin arrived quickly and the scoop inside was handy. Took me a few goes to stop it clumping but it's nice in the end.

Needed one for the office

Needed a decent matcha for the office kitchen after everyone got fed up with the cheap stuff. Ordered a bigger tin and it came in a day or two. The only niggle is that the tin is a bit tricky to reseal once opened, so it's worth decanting. Otherwise the taste is good and it works well in lattes for the team.

the ceremonial grade

Bought the ceremonial grade for weekend whisking. I know my matcha well and this one has a proper umami sweetness with no bitterness, even with plain hot water. Tin came well packed and I'm impressed with the consistency between batches.

Tin was a bit dented

Got the starter tin and it was great for the price, tastes proper and mixes nice. The tin came a bit dented in the corner though, nothing that affected the matcha inside. Would still get it again.

Better than the shop one

Way better than the shop one I'd been buying, much smoother and a nicer colour. Been a regular customer for a while now and nothing has changed for the worse. Order turned up on time as always.
