The espresso blend

Bought the espresso blend for my new machine and it pulls a proper crema. Checkout was quick and the bag turned up the next day. Only thing is it's a bit pricier than the stuff in the shops, but I think it's worth it.

Not worth the wait

Honestly this was a disappointment. The order took nine days to arrive and when I emailed to ask where it was the reply came after almost a week. The coffee tastes fine but I'd expect quicker service at this price.

gift for my dad

My dad is hard to buy for but he loves his coffee, so I got him a gift box from this site for his birthday. I wanted something special and not just another bag from the shop. He was thrilled when it arrived and has already asked me where I got it from. The box arrived on time and everything was in order.

needed something for the office

We needed a reliable coffee supplier for the staff kitchen after our old one stopped delivering, and a colleague recommended this place. Ordering was simple through the site and they sorted a regular delivery to the office. The staff have been happy with the blend and the account team has been easy to deal with.

the bag was a bit light

The first thing I noticed was the bag was smaller than I expected for the price, maybe 250g rather than the 300g I'd assumed from the listing. The coffee itself is decent and roasted nicely. Delivery took four days which is fine but nothing special, and the price is on the high side for what you get.

good beans for the money

Ordered a kilo of the house blend and it's the best value I've found for proper beans. The roast is consistent from bag to bag and the grind size suits my cafetière. Delivery was quick and the price was lower than the other specialist sites I checked, so I'll keep ordering from here.

decaf that actually tastes of something

I ordered the decaf because I'm cutting back on caffeine, and it's the first decaf I've enjoyed. Delivery was on time and the packaging kept it fresh. The bag is a bit fiddly to reseal though, and I ended up using a clip I had lying around.

better value than the big chains

Compared it with the supermarket own brand beans and these work out a bit cheaper per cup once you factor in how much you actually need. The bag arrived in two days and the beans smell lovely. Only minor gripe is the bag doesn't reseal very well so I've started decanting into a jar.

Subscription for the house blend

I signed up for a monthly subscription to the house blend last spring, as my husband and I have been drinking a rather dreary supermarket coffee for years and wanted something better. The sign up was straightforward and the first bag arrived within a few days, wonderfully fresh and smelling lovely. The beans have been consistently good each month, and we have never once had to chase a delivery.

First order and I'm hooked

I'd been buying cheap supermarket coffee for years and wanted to try something a bit better, so I picked a single origin from this site. The difference was obvious from the first cup, it's fruitier and way less bitter than what I was used to. The order came quickly and well packed, and the roast date was printed on the bag which I thought was a nice touch. I've already reordered the same one.
