Compared with the advice I was offered at my bank, this was a far more balanced conversation. The adviser explained the options without pushing a single product, and I was grateful for that. Meetings have been held when I asked and the notes arrived in good time afterwards. I'd say it's been money well spent.
Read moreThe fee was the thing that caught me out. The page I looked at first gave a figure that didn't include the annual review, so the total came out noticeably higher once I'd signed up. The advice itself was sound and the adviser knew her stuff, but I felt I should have been told more clearly up front. I'm still deciding whether to carry on past the first year.
Read moreBooked the financial health check last spring, which took me through my debts, savings and monthly outgoings. Sent in my bank statements and the adviser went through every line with me on a call. Got a written plan at the end with three clear steps and I've stuck to most of them. Booking was easy and the call started on time. Had been meaning to do this for years and it was worth doing.
Read moreBeen with them for about six years now and the process has barely changed. Annual reviews are booked by email and the adviser remembers my situation without me having to repeat it. My only gripe is the portal, which takes a couple of goes to log in to, but the advice itself is solid and the fees haven't crept up.
Had my first meeting over video with the adviser, which was simple to set up. The notes came through the next day and they were easy to follow. Only thing was the booking page kept logging me out so I had to start again.
