Needed a way to pay my rent without the landlord's cheque faff so I looked at a few options. The sign up took about ten minutes on my phone. Only niggle is the verification email took a while to land, but it turned up in the end.
Read moreI'd been using a rival budgeting app for a while and compared it with this one before switching. This one costs a bit more each month for the premium features, and for what I actually use I'm not sure it's worth the extra. The core tracking is decent and the bank linking was easy to set up, but I'd probably have stayed put if I'd known the difference in price.
Read moreBeen with ANNA for about four years now and the thing I like most is the round up feature that quietly moves spare change into my savings each week. Didn't think it would make much difference but I've built up a decent little pot without really noticing. Only gripe is the app sometimes takes a second to load when I'm on the train, but otherwise I've no complaints and I've never had to phone them.

Checked the fees against my old account before switching and ANNA has nothing hidden, no monthly charge and no charge for paying abroad which was the big one for me since I travel for work. I set up the account in a few minutes on my phone and the card arrived within the week. Spent about a month watching the transactions and the breakdown is clear, so I know exactly where my money goes.
I used to pay a fortune in overdraft fees with my high street bank until a mate told me to try ANNA and honestly it's been so much simpler since I moved everything over. The card works fine abroad, the notifications come straight through on my phone, and I haven't been charged a penny in fees since I switched. I've had the account about three years now and it just does its job.
I would say this is an excellent place to keep a bit of money set aside. I opened the savings pot last spring and the interest has been paid monthly without any fuss at all. The statements arrive clearly laid out and the staff I spoke to on the chat were polite and quite patient with my questions, which I appreciated greatly. I shan't be moving it anywhere else.
I needed a no fee card for travelling for work and I'd been burned before by hidden charges. I've used this one across three countries now and the exchange rate shown in the app matched what was charged on my statement every time. Top up is quick and the card has never once been declined on me.

I applied for a small loan to help with some dental work and the form was straightforward enough to fill in at the kitchen table. The decision came through the next working day and the money arrived shortly after. I did find the repayment dates a little hard to find in the app at first, but once I'd located them it was all clear.
I took out a personal loan through the app to cover a new boiler and the approval came back in about ten minutes, which I wasn't expecting. The money hit my account the same afternoon. I've worked in lending before so I was checking the APR and the repayment schedule closely, and both matched exactly what was on screen before I signed.
