app did the job

The app tells you exactly what to eat each day and it's really easy to follow. I was dreading it but it's honestly just tap, log, done. Lost a bit of weight in six weeks and my flatmate keeps nicking my lunch ideas lol.

The sample meal guide

The sample meal guide is the bit that got me, it's laid out clearly with pictures and nothing looks too fancy. It made me actually sit down and plan my week instead of guessing. Easy win.

the grocery list feature

Used the grocery list feature last week and it actually added everything to my basket in one go. Saved me ages in the shop. Pretty handy for a busy week.

Needed a kick up the backside

I needed something to get me properly eating well after the gym stopped working for me. Signing up was straightforward and the first week's plan arrived in my inbox that evening. The first few days were fine and I'm now on week four without much trouble.

needed a cheaper option

I needed something to help with my cholesterol without paying clinic prices every month. The plan works out reasonable for what you get, and the recipes stretch a weekly budget better than I'd expected. Renewal took a couple of attempts to find the right option in the account settings. Still, the value is good and the advice has been sensible.

Sorted my sleep and my shopping

I'd never tried anything like this before so I was a bit unsure what to expect. The onboarding questions are thorough and the first call with the nutritionist felt properly personal. My weekly plan arrived on time and the shopping list has saved me money on waste. I'll be staying on for another few months.

the guided recipe videos

I picked up the guided recipe videos after comparing a couple of meal kits and these won on how short they are. Most are under ten minutes and you don't need any special kit. The recipes are simple and taste better than I expected.

Needed something for my blood pressure

My GP suggested I look at changing how I eat, as my blood pressure had crept up over the winter. I wanted something with proper guidance rather than guessing from the internet. The team talked me through each step and I've felt much more in control since.

Better than the leaflet route

Compared with the nutrition clinic I went to before, this was a good deal more practical and I didn't have to sit in a waiting room for forty minutes. The follow up emails were useful but the first one landed in my junk folder so I nearly missed it. They've since sorted that out and the advice has been sensible throughout.

sign up was fine

I'd say it's a sensible option for anyone wanting a bit of structure. The sign up took a little longer than I'd hoped, but once I was in it was all very clear and easy to follow.

The monthly plan

I've been on the monthly plan for well over a year now and it's kept me on track. The one thing that bugged me this time was that my renewal reminder came through after the cut off so I had to chase it up by phone. Not a disaster but it's happened twice now.

Grocery list thing is handy

Used the grocery list thing on the site last night, pressed the button and it dropped everything into my basket in one go, which saved me ages. Only niggle is the basket didn't pick up one item I'd swapped so I had to fix it by hand, not a massive deal. Good for a quick Tesco run too, otherwise sorted.

Better than my last nutritionist

I used a nutritionist for a few years before this and I found the sessions rushed. Here the consultant had clearly read my notes and asked sensible follow up questions. My plan has been easy to adjust when my knee got bad and I couldn't do the walks.

Seven years in and still going

I've been with them since they first started and the plans have improved a lot over the years. The newer menus are more varied and the coaches still know my history. The price has gone up a bit but it's still fair for the level of care.

better value than my old gym package

I'd been paying for a gym membership and a dietitian separately, and this worked out cheaper for what I actually needed. My consultant was thorough and didn't rush me through the questions. I'm pleased I switched and I've noticed the difference in how I feel.

first go at it

I signed up because I wanted to stop living on takeaway and actually get some structure. Booking the first consultation was simple enough. The only snag was the confirmation email took a day to arrive, so I thought I'd been ghosted for a bit.

The meal planner tool

I used the meal planner for a month to sort out my lunches for work. It throws up a shopping list that's actually useful and the recipes take twenty minutes or so. I've already got the next month booked.

cheaper than the rest

I looked at a couple of other programmes first and this was the cheapest by a fair bit, so that was the deciding factor. The sign up asked me loads of questions and I had to chase a password reset which took two days. Once I was in the plan was fine, if a bit basic on the recipes.

better than the old way

Compared with the printed diet sheets my dietitian used to hand out, this is far more useful because the meals actually change each week. I've been with them a good while now and the recipes have got better, though some of the newer ones need more ingredients than I'd like. Still, I'd rather have this than flicking through a folder every Sunday.

exactly what a good plan should be

This is a well put together programme that doesn't pretend food is complicated. The plans respect that people have jobs and kids and don't cook elaborate meals. The guidance on portions is sensible and I'd happily point friends this way.
