Wentworth Wooden Puzzles

Got these instead of the ones on amazon and honestly they look way nicer on the table. The wood is smooth and the pieces are chunky which is good for my little sister. Cost about the same so no regrets. Would buy from them again x

Ordered on a whim for my nan and they are the nicest wooden jigsaws I have seen in a long while. The site was clear about what came in the box and the parcel turned up quickly. Nan has already finished the first one and is asking for another. Glad I found them.

These are the best wooden puzzles I have come across for the money. The pieces have a nice tight fit without being so tight you need a mallet, and the laser cut edges are clean with no splintering. I have done maybe thirty of their puzzles over the years and the quality has stayed consistent. Only thing I would mention is the box lids can be a bit fiddly to close.

I looked at a few options before settling on these, including a couple of plastic sets from the big chains and a cheaper wooden one from a market stall. The wood here is thicker and the pieces fit together much more snugly than the rest. Ordering was straightforward and the delivery came within the week. Would happily buy from them again for the grandkids.

Yeah this is sick, the wooden one of the city skyline is so detailed. Got it for my flatmate and we spent a whole Sunday on it. Pieces fit well, no complaints. Would get another.

This is a solid puzzle at a fair price, and the wood is thick enough that the pieces do not warp. I used it as a gift and the recipient was delighted. The site made it easy to pick the right size. Would order again for the next birthday.

Bought the wooden animal set for my nephew after looking at a few options on the high street. These were cheaper and the wood looked more natural than the painted ones. He has been sorting them by species for a week now. Really happy with it.

I needed a present for a retiring colleague that would not end up in a charity shop after a month. Wooden puzzles seemed sensible and these were good value against the others I looked at. The puzzle is well made and the picture is clear. Took a bit longer to arrive than the site said, so that was the only downside.

Needed a birthday present for my boyfriend who is obsessed with cities and these were perfect. The puzzle of London is sick, he has been doing it every night. Looked at a few others but this one had the best reviews. Fit is spot on.

Compared with the old wooden set I had from the seventies, these are a big step up in finish and the pieces are cut far more accurately. I know my puzzles and these hold up well to the older ones. The box is also sturdier. I would happily order the next design.

The first thing I noticed was the price was a bit lower than the big shops for a similar sized wooden puzzle, which was the main reason I went with them. Checkout was easy enough. Took a while to arrive though, nearly two weeks, and the box was a bit battered. Puzzle itself is fine and the wood feels solid enough for the kids to use.

Got the wooden animal set for my little cousin and she loves it. Arrived quick, packed well, no complaints. The animals are a good size and the colours look nice.

I have been ordering from them for about six years now, mostly for the grandchildren and the odd birthday present. The wooden animal sets are still going strong, which is more than I can say for the plastic ones I bought before. Last time the order was a bit slow to dispatch, about a week, and the site didn't tell me it was out of stock until I'd already paid. Still the best place I know for proper wooden puzzles.

Compared to the cheap cardboard jigsaws from the supermarket these are a different league, the wood is thick and the fit is much more satisfying. They do cost more though, and I did wonder if it was worth it at first. The piece count is a bit lower than I expected for the price. It is a nice puzzle but not the bargain I had hoped for.

Got the wooden skyline puzzle for my mate's birthday & it was a hit. Ordering was dead simple, took about 3 days to turn up which was quick. Pieces are a bit fiddly in places, took me a couple of goes to get the corners right, but the finished picture looks proper good on the wall once it's done.

We needed something to keep the kids off screens over the Easter holidays, and wooden puzzles seemed a better bet than the plastic ones at the big shops. I compared a few places before going with these, mainly on price and the age range on the box. The puzzles are good and the kids like the bright pictures. Delivery took a few extra days, which was a small niggle, but the pieces arrived intact.

Ordered the 500 piece jigsaw of a Cornish harbour from the site as a birthday present for my dad, never bought from them before so I was a bit nervous. The pieces all fitted together cleanly and the box felt sturdy enough to store it in. Dad has already started on the sky and says it is the best present he has had in years. Would happily order again for the grandkids.

Compared with the plastic puzzles my daughter suggested, these wooden ones are a far more pleasant thing to hold and assemble. I did consider a few other makers before deciding, and I am glad I went with these. The pieces fit well and the finish is very even. My grandson enjoyed them too.

I needed something to keep my hands busy while recovering from surgery, and wooden jigsaws seemed like the right thing. The puzzle is a good size and the pieces are easy to handle. Only niggle is that the sign up for their newsletter was a bit fiddly.
