Vintage Gentlemen

I bought a tweed A-line skirt in a herringbone pattern and it is very well made, with proper lining and neat seams. The order took rather longer than they said it would, nearly three weeks, and I did have to write in to ask where it was. When it did arrive the hem was a touch longer than I'd like, though it was simple enough to take up. I'm not sure I'd rush back, but I'm glad I bought it.

Compared it with two other vintage sites and this one was clearly the most expensive for the same type of jacket. The quality is decent but not that much better. Checkout was quick on my phone and the order came through fine. Just a bit steep.

I think this is the best of the three places I looked at for a proper tweed sports jacket. The others were either too modern or the fabric felt thin. This one has real weight and the cut is traditional without looking like a costume. I checked the reviews on a few sites before buying and felt confident going in.

I compared this cardigan with one from a well known department store before deciding, and the wool here is noticeably finer. The department store version pilled after a few wears, whereas this one still looks new after a couple of months. The fit through the arms is generous and the buttons are sewn on firmly. I'm very pleased with it.

Good solid trousers in a proper flannel and they're worth the price. I know my cloth and these hold up well to a wash. Sizing ran a touch generous in the waist so I'd check the guide first.

Compared with the cheap ones I'd been getting, the buttons don't pull and the cut is less boxy. Worth the extra for something you'll wear every week.
