The price on the pack of picture frames was the first thing I noticed, around a third less than the high street shop. Everything I wanted was in stock and the order came in a padded envelope with no damage. I'd happily order from them again for small household bits.
Read moreCompared with buying the same kettle from a supermarket, this was about fifteen pounds more expensive by the time postage was added. The kettle works but the lid feels flimsy and the finish is not quite what the photos suggested. Getting a return label took several emails over four days. I would expect better value from an online retailer at this level.
Read moreCompared with the supplier I used for years, usmen is far quicker to sort out a reorder and I haven't had a single wrong item since I started. I've been buying the same refill cartridges for my printer every couple of months and the site remembers my details so I just tick and pay. The emails about dispatch arrive on time too, which is more than I can say for the old place.
Read moreOn balance I would say it was a satisfactory experience. The lamp I ordered arrived in good condition, though it took nine days rather than the four I had been told. The website was easy enough to navigate and the price was fair. I did not receive any update until the day it arrived, which I found a little unsettling.
Ordered a small speaker for the flat and it sounds decent for the money. Delivery was a day late and I had to message the site to find out why, took about a day to get a reply. Otherwise sorted.
I looked at three other places for a set of garden solar lights before going with this one. The price was lower than the others, which is why I went for it. It did take nine days to arrive though, and the site only said it would be about five, so I had to chase it up. The lights themselves work fine.
