Trusty Stores

Easily the best of the three I looked at for a cordless drill set. The others wanted a login before you could even see postage, and this one showed everything up front. Arrived next working day and everything was there.

Compared to the other site I usually use this is dearer for the same phone case, but I got it here because it was in stock. Delivery took three days which is fine. Not the cheapest but it did the job.

This is the best of the lot I looked at for a pressure washer hose. I checked four other sellers and the fittings here were cheaper and matched my old machine. Arrived quickly and was simple to fit.

I bought the lamp that was pictured with a fabric shade and sadly what arrived had a plain plastic one instead. I did ring the customer line and it took three days to get a reply, which was rather frustrating when I wanted to sort it quickly. The lamp itself works well enough but the difference in the shade was disappointing. I had hoped for better on this occasion.

Applied for a small loan through them on my phone during lunch and the whole thing took about ten minutes. Money landed in my account the next morning, so no complaints from me.

Ordered the replacement kettle lead on Tuesday night and it turned up Thursday, which was fine for me. Checkout took about a minute on my phone and the tracking email came straight away. Would order again.

I needed a new frying pan after my old one warped on the hob and started sticking badly. The product page was clear about the coating and the site made it easy to check the delivery date. The pan arrived well packed and it has been great so far. It was a little more than I paid last time but I think it will last.

The filter fitted my boiler exactly, which matters a lot when you know the model inside out and have been caught out before by near-enough parts. Packaging was tidy and the order was easy to track from start to finish. The only small niggle was that the confirmation email took a while to arrive, but the parts themselves were spot on and the price was fair for what you get.

I looked at a couple of other sites before deciding on a replacement garden hose, and this one came out ahead on the total price. The hose itself is solid and the fittings screw on without any fuss. Delivery was a day later than the estimate, which was a little irritating, but they sent an update to say so. Pleased with the outcome.

Honestly the verdict is that it's fine for a basic garden hose reel but I wouldn't rave about it. The reel was a bit flimsy in the box and one of the fittings had a small burr on it that I had to file down. Delivery was prompt and the price was fair. It does the job, just don't expect much more than that.

The drill bit set was about a quarter of what the big DIY shops wanted for the same number of bits, which is the main reason I went with them. Checkout took a minute, nothing hidden at the end, and the postage was included in the total. The bits themselves are fine for the money, not pro grade but more than enough for putting up shelves and hanging a few things. Good value, plain and simple.

This was my first order with them so I was a bit wary, mainly because I needed a replacement bike lock before a trip. The checkout was simple and they let me choose a delivery slot that suited me. The lock came in good time and was exactly as described, so I'll be back for other bits.

Bought the wireless earbuds on Saturday and they arrived Monday morning with the charging case fully charged. Checkout was quick and I got a confirmation email with a link to track it. Sound is good for the money and the case feels sturdy enough. Would buy again.

I needed a spare filter for the boiler quickly before the cold snap and this was the cheapest place that had one in stock. Ordered after work and it came the next morning. Nothing to complain about for a bit of kit like that.

I needed a replacement cushion cover for the armchair after the old one wore through at the arms. I have been ordering from them for years and they have always been reliable. This time the cover came a day later than the date they gave, and the zip is a touch stiffer than the last one. Otherwise the fabric is nice and the fit is good, and the price was fair for the quality. I'd go back.

I compared it with a couple of big chain sites for a set of storage boxes and this came out cheaper once postage was added. The boxes are a decent thickness and the lids click on properly. Delivery arrived in two days which I was happy with.

The shower head I ordered arrived well wrapped and the fitting matched the old one without any trouble, which I was rather relieved about as my husband has given up on DIY. I did have to email them with a question about the washer, and they replied within the working day, which I thought was very civil of them. The price was reasonable and I have no complaints at all about the way it was handled.

Compared with the usual place I go to for a replacement kettle, this came out about a fiddly bit cheaper once I'd added everything. Ordering was easy enough and the booking confirmation came straight away, so I'd use them again for something similar.

The verdict is that the cordless hedge trimmer is a good buy for the money. I know my way around garden tools and this one feels well balanced, though the battery is a bit heavier than I'd like. Ordering was easy and it arrived within three days. Price was fair compared with the specialist shops.

Compared with the cheaper sets I looked at, this one has a slightly firmer feel and better stitching on the seams. The duvet is a bit smaller than the old one I had, which I should have checked more carefully. Delivery was quick and the price was reasonable for the quality.
