Townsend Music

I checked a couple of other sites first for a music stand and the one here was a fair bit cheaper than the rest. Compared to the big online marketplace it was also quicker to get a reply when I asked about the height. The stand arrived sturdy and in one piece.

I bought my first proper electric guitar from here after saving up for months. It arrived well packed with the strings already on and tuned close to pitch. Took a bit of fiddling to get the action right but I got there in the end. Happy with it.

The tuning pegs on the ukulele I bought are a proper upgrade on the stock ones, smooth and they hold pitch. Brilliant for someone who plays most evenings. Shipping took a bit longer than the page said but the item was well wrapped and undamaged.

My old metronome packed up mid practice so I needed a replacement quickly for my grade exam prep. Found the one I wanted here and it was in stock. Clear click, easy to set, and it came the next day.

Our band needed a cheap bass for practice because our old one got stolen from the van. Ordered on a Friday and it didn't arrive until the following Wednesday, which was annoying since we had a gig on the Saturday. Bass sounds decent though, the neck is a bit chunky for me but I can cope. Would probably get something else next time.

We needed a starter violin for our youngest who has just started lessons at school. Ordered it through the site and it came with a bow, rosin and a soft case. Everything was there and the kids are already getting a tune out of it.

I first looked at a big high street chain for a djembe but the prices on their site were much higher. Went with this shop instead and the drum arrived in good condition with a little tuning key tucked inside. Very happy with the difference in price.

Yeah this shop is great for ukes, got a soprano one and it sounds lovely for the price. Came quicker than I thought too, like two days. Only thing is the bag is a bit thin but whatever, the instrument is what matters.

I compared a few places before buying a dynamic microphone for podcasting and this one had the best price for the model. Arrived quicker than the other two sites I checked. The mic sounds clean and the cable is a decent length.

Compared to the other place I was looking at for a cajon, this one came out cheaper with free delivery. Put my order in on a weekday and it arrived within the week. Sounds lovely and the seat part is comfy enough to sit on for hours.

Compared to my local music shop this site was noticeably cheaper for the same brand of harmonica. Postage was included which I didn't expect. Nothing to complain about, plain and simple.

The little cable clip that came with my new keyboard stand is the detail I liked most, it stops the lead tangling. Order was quick and everything matched the listing. Really pleased with what I got for the money.

Needed a cheap keyboard for my first year music module and my flatmate kept nagging me to sort it. Ordered on the site on a Sunday night and it turned up Wednesday, which was quicker than I expected. Works great, no complaints, the checkout was really easy too.

I ordered a pair of studio monitors and they're good for home recording, the bass response is better than I expected. The first box was delivered to the wrong address and it took a few days to get sorted with customer services. Eventually the second set arrived fine.

Ordered a set of acoustic guitar strings, medium gauge, and they arrived in about three days which was fine. Packaging was basic but the strings themselves were fresh and sealed. Price was a touch higher than my usual shop but I didn't mind paying it for the convenience of not driving into town.

Honestly really good, the drum sticks I got were exactly what I wanted and the price was fair. Delivery was quick and the box came in one piece. Would get stuff from here again no worries.

I have been buying strings and the odd accessory from this shop for years now and it has always been reliable. Latest order was a set of banjo strings and they came fast and in good nick. Still the same easy site I started with.

Looked at a couple of other shops before buying a second hand looking mixing desk for the church hall. The thing that really caught my eye was the product photos, you can actually see the knobs and ports clearly which helped a lot. Price was in the middle of what I saw elsewhere and it came in about four days, all good.

Got a pair of headphones for gaming and music from here and they're decent for the money. The box had a dent in one corner but the headphones were fine. Sound is good, bit of a tight fit on my head though.

This is the best place to buy a bass amp in the UK and I checked the others carefully. The prices here were competitive and the whole order was simple. Delivery came the next working day and I have had zero issues since.
